We all have alot of ideas, plans, schemes to acquire players and improve the team. Some sound great, some maybe not so great.

My question though is not who would you pick up, but who would you cut?

Careful, the answers may not be as simple as you think.

Lets take for example WR.

I think everyone would agree, we could use a stud WR. Now I dont care who or when we pick one up, but I wanna know for those of you who want Nicks, Boldin, TJ, Crabtree (yea, longshot, but the acquired player is really irrelevant), whoever.....

Who do we trade/release to make room for this guy on the 53 man roster?

Do we try to trade Camarillo, Bess, London, Wilford, Ginn?

Remember, even though Wilford looks like the odd man out, he has a cap penalty if we release him (I'm not sure, but I think if he is released after June 1st it gets defered to next years cap 2010, BUT being an uncapped year, I think there are complications)

Who starts? Who is the #1, #2, #3 etc....

Remeber when Ginn went down in the playoffs we had a total of 2 WR's. We have space for a WR. Camarillo, Ginn, and Bess is locks but London and Wilford is ? marks. We don't know what the deal was with Wilford and London is a good ST player.

I agree. You can easily fit 5 WRs on your 53 man roster.

We can also put one on a practice squad incase injuries hit again this year. It is better to have one in your system than to have to scramble for waiver wire players or FA's.

Starters will be Ginn and Camarillo with Bess as the slot to start the year but if a rookie comes along good who knows?

I dont think they are going to keep Holliday cause I think they will go after Chris Canty.
If we get rid of Vonnie we will still only have 3 DE's. A 4 man rotation is always better to have and Vonnie is a leader and most experianced DE.

Wilford, Murphy, Solia, J. Allen, and Beck all all expendable imo. Of course it all depends on who we draft or get in FA. If we draft an OL or WR, then Wilford or Murphy should get the axe. Same with beck if we drafted someone like Pat White.

Murphy was learning 4 differant positions last year on the line as a rookie. Why would we give up on him? If a player can learn differant positions the are the most valued by a team and when one does it as a rookie you definantly don't say he is expendable.

Well our staff obviously didn't think he was better than Ndukwe, who sucked imo. We also signed a few guys off the street that were ahead of him on the depth chart.

How can you say at this point. We are in a state of gathering talent. When we have gathered as much talent as we can, then we can cull the the roster. At this point, I would say bring in as many players as possible and then decide who to keep from who is actually on our team.

Murphy is young, he needs time to develop. I think he has something to offer, even if it is a flexible guy to plug in to shore up gaps created by injury. I say hang on to him for another year or so and see how he pans out.
