Do we go with a QB, O-lineman or that stud WR out of Georgia Tech?

Can you tell I have given up?

No more talk about wr's or skill position. That has been our mo for 10 years.

Here we go again, should we get a wr, qb, cb. There should be no talk, about these skill positions until we get high quality lineman. Wr's contribute very little in their first year. So even if what ever wr we get in the draft is a freak of nature he may only get like 750 yards and 5 td's ( a good year for a rookie wr), and team needs alot more production. We need lineman on both sides of the line of scrimmage. We have to dominate the line of scrimmage on every down, if we want a superbowl, and right now we don't. That is why our skill positions look so mediocre right now. That is our first agenda, and if I have a finger to point at Saban, is that he did not address the line of scrimmage issue from the moment he got here. He may have thought that what these players needed was better coaching, little did he now that his predecessor was the worst drafting coach in the history of the NFL.

We should trade down to get mutliple picks to fill multiple holes if we end up with that high of a pick.

We try to get one of those steals by trading down 2-5 spots and gain a 2nd this year and maybe a 2nd next year and then take the BPA. At this point we can draft LB, S, CB, OL, DE, DT and probably be pretty safe. I do think if Joe Thomas is sitting in our lap and we really believe he's going to be dominate, then we have to pull the string and take him and not trade down. We have to get a couple of O-lineman. I think with the 1st two picks, we need to go LB and LT. I would love to see Joe Thomas in the 1st and Buster Davis in the 2nd.

Trading down a few spots might be nice, but doesn't mean there would be a suitor. And Calvin Johnson is still a junior, so he may not even come out. I'm all for taking BPA(not counting QBs and RBs), whether that is a o-linemen, a LB, a DB, a WR, or DL. I just don't want to see anymore suggestions that we take a QB in the 1st.

last week all you said was Joe Thomas, what happened to that

He watched the living breathing hilight film on youtube. Hard to think otherwise once you see what CJ can do.

Calvin Johnson has a good chance at being as good as Randy Moss on the deep ball and as well rounded as TO (receiving) without the attitude.
You simply can't pass that up no matter what.

We draft CJ because we dont have a number 1 reciever. We get a guy like CJ he will spread the field like Moss and Chad Johnson do.
