...ESPN is stupid! I was watching Sportscenter tonight just to catch the latest updates on the Roethlesberger story... I'm sure you've all heard about that one...:wink:

Anyhow, they ended the segment so: "...it is likely he will be ready for his September 7 opening game with Denver.":rolleyes2

OMG!!! How do you screw that one up? I know Denver was supposed to open the season at Pittsburgh, but they declined! What the hell...?

Teams don't get to pick and choose who and where they play.

Okay, Theory... My bad... Just what I had heard...

But that, then makes the situation worse. There is NO reason at all that ESPN should have made that mistake then. I was just throwing out what I had heard as a possible reason...

...and I didn't say they declined who or where they play... they still play Pittsburgh in Pitt later in the season... I had heard they were offered the season opening game and they declined... Is that possible? Truly don't know, but it sounds reasonable... ...and the Broncos fans also seem to believe it is so...
