If last year was embarrassing on a short week. What is this year’s loss up by 21 in the 4th when you made it a point to circle this game. They may never recover from such an embarrassment.

I'm sure they aren't happy about it and it's not gonna sit well. but its just one chapter of a very long season. I'm sure nobody feels good about making excuses, but realistically that is a very banged up team that has a chance to get a lot better.

The Ravens have established themselves as perennial contenders and I think this season will be defined more by what will happens towards the end of this season than what happens in week two.

Imagine if we were in the Bengals' situation right now...start off 0-2, your franchise QB essentially giving the first game away by himself. Those are the AFC champs looking more like the AFC chumps so far.

The Ravens SHOULD be embarrassed...to the hilt. They talked smack before the game, and it bit 'em in the ass.

And one thing I've noticed about the Shitbirds over the past, 3 to 5 years. They ALWAYS have premier players injured. EVERY year. When the Titans beat 'em in Lamar's MVP year in the playoffs, they were missing key people...and last season spiraled down like a corkscrew because of injures. #1 seed in week 10 to missing the playoffs.

They need to look at what they're doing...I mean, a year or two, sure, accidents happen...but EVERY year?

Well, the Bengals should take solace in the same thign that makes them overrated. Everyone thinks they were a case of a team arriving, but really they were a fringe playoff team that got hot at the right team and seemed to catch the right opponents at the right time. I mean, in that Titans game alone Mike Vrabel coached his way into a loss by running the clock down on his own team trying to win the game, resulting in a mistake on a rushed throw. Just stupid, and while the Bengals capitalized, they saw a team that outplayed them force themselves into a mistake.

At the end of the day the season is freaking long. It's not decided after two losses, and if you get into the playoffs and can play your best football then, those early season losses are just a footnote.

But I do think the Bengals have thin, thin talent beyond their top playmakers, which elevated them beyond what the rest of that roster and coaching staff was really capable of.

Bengals and Raiders with killer losses.

Also the Denver Broncos aren’t a good team.

It's almost like they're too physical for their own good, leading to more injuries for them,=.
