So your telling me theres a chance?

Guys. I know we arent going to make the playoffs. We are in the position of needing a king on the river (poker lingo :) ) to make it.

But with that said. We are 2 games back, we have won 2 in a row, we catch the chargers the week before they play the colts.....and we still have a shot!

If we win out, 2 relatively tough games, 2 relatively easy games.....we would only need the pats to falter once (other than against us, at Foxboro) to have a shot at the division.
What do you think is are chances of the pats going 2-2 , and us running the table? Miami, at home, against the...say...Jagaurs? Or chiefs? Come the wildcard weekend?? That still rings in my ears come playoff time. Longshot surely....but hey, dont give up quite yet.

Don't kill me for asking, but until we are officially out, I NEVER lose hope.

we can do it but its very doubtful.....but u never know. if we play like we played in that 4th quarter today we can definately do it.
 
Our only hope is for Brady to go down for three weeks at the start of next Sunday's game. The Pats haven't lost two games in a row this year, so unless Brady goes down next week I highly doubt they'll lose three straight, especially when you consider that two of those games are against NYJ and Buffalo...
 
i doubt we will make it but there is a shot still and im hoping we get in:D
 
Pats looked anemic vs. Jets. An average team would have crushed them today.


They have at least 2 more losses in their future.

Basically, although it wouldn't be completely official if we also win. In that case, we'd need to hope that the Pats drop their final three games (incredibly unlikely) and we win-out.

I think the division is probably out of reach, but I think 8-8 is a worthy goal. I'll be very impressed with such a finish.
 
im hearing a lot of.. "the pats have to lose" but the fact is WE have to win. It doesnt matter what the pats do if we dont win. LETS GO FINS!!!:rawk:
 
Id feel a lot better if we wernt playin the Chargers next week.

With that beind said, i still have hope.

Nice work with the Dumb and dumber quote! I knew thats what it was before you explained it, Love that one I use it all the time.
 
We just have to focus on the Phins and if we have a shot on January 1st to beat the Pats and make the playoffs great, but we need some help....I am just very proud of how my Phins did not quit today when they were down 21-0.
