The
Dolphins will play Sunday's game against the Rams without defensive tackle Paul Soliai, who has been suspended for his second game this season.
Soliai, who has contributed two tackles in the 10 games he's played, was suspended for violating team rules again. He did not make the trip to St. Louis according to team officials.
Defensive end Randy Starks usually spells starting nose tackle
Jason Ferguson, entering the game on passing downs. However, Soliai usually plays on goal line situations.
The last time Soliai was suspended, which was the Oct. 19th loss to Baltimore, Ferguson suffered an abdominal injury in the first quarter and the Dolphins were left shorthanded on the front line. As a result the
Ravens rushed for a season-high 139 yards.
Soliai's suspension likely means rookie defensive end Lionel Dotson, who played in the Baltimore game, or veteran defensive end Rodrique Wright will be activated against the Rams.
