I strongly disagree, if we turn around and make the playoffs next year there will be respect.
 
Why do we even care what the critics think.... I'm not going to let them influence my thought's about this draft, or this team. There's always going to be hit's and misses with the draft. Grade us after the test is completed, not while it's in progress....
 
Of course if he gave us an A, this thread would be praising him for the genius that he is...
 
Wilcots and Baldinger are not being objective. They do not like the Fins. I do not like them either.
A c-? On value alone, we did excellent from round 2-7. The Tannehill pick was a slight reach, but I think they should look at the other picks as well.
 
Wilcots is just your typical media member in today's society. Why actually do some work and some research, just do a half ass job and pile on. If you pick up a first round value in round 2, a 2nd round value in round 4, and a 4th-5th round value in both rounds 6 and 7, how do you get a C-? What would be really interesting is how these experts rated the Titans last year with their pick of Locker (who sat the 2011 season for the most part) or how they rated the Jets when Sanchez was their selection. I'll bet that the experts were not as critical of those teams as they are now of the Dolphins. Then you would be able to see the true media bias and ignorance.
 
Its part of every sports "analysts" job to give grades, etc etc. Some will like our draft (McShay) and some wont (Wilcots). Seriously though who give a **** what they think?!
 
Dont listen to the pinheads..if Luck or RG3 didnt come out Tannehill probally would have been drafted 1st overall and everyone would be praising the colts...We had a very solid draft, now we just have to wait. I for one am very excited because I believe after watching the videos with Gruden and Chris Wienke that Tannehill is a very special player that doesnt come around that often. He will be a dolphin for years to come and we should be very excited.
 
who cares? their predictions mean nothing. i could say the same thing about all the people on here who "dont know" and are giving it an A+ pretty much lol. i know the draft is the only thing in recent memory and people are excited about it, but the draft grades are played now lol - esp the bad ones.
 
Do you think Solomon Wilcots is a bad analyst because he had bad things to say about our draft, or because he is a bad analyst? Because I can respect a case for the latter, but this really does seem like bashing the guy simply because he bashed our team first.

You guys are constantly bashing this team (not you specifically), going public with rage, buying *Fire Jeff Ireland* ads...

What do you expect the media to do??? Let's clean our own act as DolFANS and then the media will follow..
 
I've been thinking about this Tanny is a reach thing. Is it a foregone conclusion that he will be an all pro, or a bust? But the same can be said for Luck or RG3. Look at all the Qb's that have come and and were can't miss, Smith, Russell, Leaf and you can go on and on. Most analysts had Tanny rated as a top 20 pick, I don't see the fact that we took him at 8 and it being an area of need qualifying as a reach.
 
Lmao...Well Adam Schein gave Miami an F and guess what his reason was? Tannehilll..Leading up to the draft he said time and time again that Miami should not take him there...Well we did and he said he didnt consider any other part of the draft....which is just dumb..

Also as far as Solomon Wilcots is concerned he just does not know what he is talking about..If you take the 1st guy that each team took in the first round I would say that the Jets have the best player right now. Coples is far more productive and has the body type/strength to play at the 5 tech....I feel like Chandler Jones does not have a posistion right now and NE is going to have to find a place for him.

I don't really care what analysts think, my point was simply that these people are not doing enough work to warrant going on TV and giving a grade for draft results. It's NFL Network's fault for even thinking Solomon Wilcotts is astute enough to provide a viable grade and that's really my point.
 
Wilcots and Warren Sapp have a combined IQ of maybe 20.
