Dolphins | Harrington leaves evening drills early Saturday
Sat, 29 Jul 2006 22:01:38 -0700
Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins QB Joey Harrington (undisclosed) left evening practice early Saturday, July 29, due to an unspecified physical condition. Harrington also struggled somewhat during the team's morning practice.

The backup offensive line, from left tackle to right tackle, looks like this: T Damion McIntosh, G Joe Toledo, C Wade Smith, G C.J. Brooks, T Anthony Alabi…It will be interesting to see if the Dolphins try to develop Toledo as a guard or a tackle, but using him as the backup guard could be a way to get him more repetitions early. I would anticipate he would eventually move to tackle because of his athleticism, unless coaches decide he seems more natural at guard. But with McIntosh filling the backup tackle role, this will at least get Toledo on the field

I don't get what's going on with this Harrington deal at all. He's been a starter in this league for a long time. Don't understand why he's struggling so much.

i think worse and worse about harrington..it seems this guy has a bad practice everytime

And you determined this after ONE practice?

Joey is bieng compared to Dante.... If he was being compared to Feeley he wouldn't be "struggling".

This is just anther example of sensational journalism it’s a regular tatic of his; in fact it’s a regular tactic of all of the Miami Herald writers. They all went to the Dan Lebaturd School of “What trouble can I stir up today.â€Â

When are you guys ever going to learn this? LOL

harrington

Well, the media reports had him looking bad at the OTAs too. I think I'm gonna withold judgement until I see him in the preseason games.

Right. The guy from Sun-Sentinel writes Joey is struggling because he threw one interception ... but Daunte throws two interceptions in evening practice, nobody says he "struggled somewhat" ???

The bubble Turf was loose and spongy - it was reported Harrington tripped after he was taking a snap. I just hope this didn't cause a problem for him to leave practice early... :(
