Some good news

Not impressed with Geno Smith. He misses open receivers a lot and has accuracy issues just like RT. He does have better instincts with respect to tucking and running when a play breaks down, but as a passer he's sub par.

Our division pretty much sucks! New England only has 2 wins bc they played Vikings and Raiders. If they played pretty much anyone else they mite be 0-3 way theyve played. Jets no QB. Bills will fade like always do.

I agree our division looks pretty bad. The problem is we are probably the worst team in the division. I really can't see us beating NE (again), Buffalo (for the first time in two years) and the Jets. Unless some miracle happens, I can't see us making our standard 7-9 season.

we get buffalo on a short week at home...i'd like to think that is a major advantage for the home team on thursday night...but we'll see...the jets offensive tendencies are plain as day...crappy lb play or not coyle sucks if he's not ready for it when we play them...tom brady is missing all kinds of things thru 3 games...like easy drop in a bucket throws even...so if that continues yeah we got a shot

i dont know what we are gonna do though going to chicago...those big wrs and that tight end size wise will eat our smurf dbs davis and grimes for lunch and that oline is keeping cutler clean...the d is loading up vs the run and inside zone read option so you gonna have to spin it to beat them...looks like an easy loss to me in week 6...better beat oakland and the pack and look to be 3-3 after week 6 and try and make a push from there

lose to oakland this week we could easily be 1-5 after 6 games...come out of the bye playing much faster...about all i can say

Wouldn't be surprised if Miami is the only team from AFC East to win this week and end up in 1st place at the bye.

Jets host Detroit
Buffalo at Houston
Patriots at KC.

I can't believe there are actually people on this board who were spinning praise for Geno last night.

When you really step up there and just keep pitching fastballs through the facemasks of defenders without even the slightest hesitation, that's not confidence. That's recklessness.

Do you watch jets games?

I'd take geno in a heartbeat.

Could you imagine the excuses if we surrounded our with the crap skill position players the Jets have

Last year Home teams were 9-7 on Thursday night. the 7 road teams to win all made the playoffs--Interesting stat IMO

Even more interesting if we beat the Bucs last yr we make the playoffs. That would have knocked out SD so the stat would have been 8-8 with 7 of 8 making playoffs
