Some info on Jacox

the man says he is a mauler, and likes to impose his will on the defense, i love that attitude, we need it on our line. i hope he can stay healthy, i think houck should love this guy.
 
I know this won't mean anything to anybody, but I got a good feeling about this guy

I definitely think he can be an upgrade over Anderson.

I loved this:

"When you pound on a defensive lineman, you break his will. Seeing his expression change from the first quarter to the fourth gives you a little smile. Basically, you impose your will on your opponent. I'm a true believer in that."

I agree, that's music to my ears too. I hope he's an upgrade to Anderson. We can't afford to have any weak links on the offensive line. Not with Daunte back there with his knee not quite 100%. I want to see him doing some mauling in the RUNNING GAME. I want to see some linebackers and DBs get pancaked .... BIG HOLES for Ronnie so he can get some long runs for TDs. He'll have some instant fans next week if he does. :D
 
i like his attitude about him being a mauler and imposing his will on players
certainly seems like a better attitude then the lazy half a$$ work that anderson does

2 thoughts:

1) just because he says he's a mauler, doesn't make it true, right now I can "I'm a mauler". But my 180 lb body says otherwise.

2) Even though our Run blocking isn't very good, I'm more concerned with giving Daunte enough time, not sure this is the guy to do that.

we'll see.
