Some juicy bits.....

During an away game they usually have an 11:00 curfew when they MUST be back at the team hotel.

Being a Sunday night game maybe the rules were a little different.

But, if it does indicate a lack of respect, whether it wasn't earned or not, is NOT a good sign.
Thanks for the clarification.

I agree that it is not a good sign; it's a sign that the coach no longer garners the respect of his players. When that happens, it's clear the writing is on the wall.

I don't know if anyone's posted it yet, but Dave Hyde had a scathing article on the Sun-Sentinel website today.

Np....I read the Hyde article...it's on here somewhere. It could be right on...:(

He is also Junior Seau......the same rules really don't apply to HOF's to be....

Michael Irvin used to party the night before games...and if you want a Dolphin example....I remember drinking beers and playing pool with Mark Duper at Hooligans Miami Lakes the night before a home game at 1:00....Duper also smoked cigarettes like a chimney.....

One night before the Fins played the Falcons....I bought Duper and his homies a couple of pitchers and Dupe came up to me and said: "Thanks man....but it don't look right me free loading so here is a fifty..."

He smoked cigs and drank beer till 1:30 in the morning...the next day he caught 9 balls for 130 and a TD.........on Deion Sanders......

Dupe was a cool dude.....a bad pool player also.

I didn't mean to let out. Junior Seau is one of the favorite players on my team. I remember being excited when he was coming to the Dolphins.

It did happen.......It is not a whopper.

I used to work in the memorabilia/autograph field......Duper was actually one of the least famous athletes I had met.

I don't get how some people just insist on calling other posters on here liars for no apparent reason...

Mark Duper played his last game as a Dolphin January 17, 1993, AFC title game vs. Buffalo (miserable experience...)

According to your user info, you would been 18 at OLDEST when that happened.

So either you're lying... or you're telling me some 18 year old offered Mark Duper a pitcher during the 1992 season. Which, if that happened, I can't blame him for turning down. I wouldn't take a pitcher from a little kid either. :shakeno:

Sorry to bust on ya... we're all fans. Much love.

Ummm.... I once bought a pitcher for Dan Marino.....Oh wait I once bought a PICTURE of Dan Marino..... Oh wait Dan Marino likes pitchers..
'OH forget it
