Some OL & DL talk....good read!!

I didn't see it posted but thought it was a good read...enjoy...

Here is a little taste. Let me know what ya think...


ESPN's Mel Kiper predicts Soliai could play ''a lot'' in '07. ''A big body in the middle is really important to this defense,'' Mueller said of Soliai, who gained 120 pounds (to 340) since his freshman year at Utah. ''We were really surprised he was'' available in Round 4. ''He's going to be a force in this league,'' draftnik and former Browns scout Russ Lande predicted.


Defense: GM Randy Mueller said Evans ''proved last year he's an NFL player, and hopefully Rodrique will, too.'' Zach Thomas raves about their work ethic; Keith Traylor loves Wright's pass-rushing skills; and Jason Taylor said: ``I don't think they can be good. Fred and Rod can be great.''

Don't know about you guy's but reading this, I am gettign a little excited about our OL and DL....
 
I am really excited about our Dline. Our oline I am still a bit skeptical about. Don't want to get my hopes up too much just to have them crashing down. I think the oline has more talent than in recent memory, but they have to play well together. Hopefully Houck can get them to perform at a high level. IF THAT happens... then the sky is the limit for this team. I truly believe if we get good OLINE play any QB we put back will do well (some better than others) and we will win a LOT of games.

O'townPhinFan, not trying to preach... But if you are not sure if anything has been posted, there is a good feature called search this forum up in the top right part of the screen. It is a good idea before making any new thread just to try it. It goes real quick and won't take much time... :wink:

I hear ya. I hope and think Houck will do wonders with our OL. Our DL sounds like it is about to be off the hook. I would not want to be an opposing QB if I were them....lol.

P.S.....You hear...Donovan is going back to FL...just thought I would throw that out there....

I usually do that but I forgot this time....No coffee in the system as of yet but working on that as we speak...lol.....:lol:

BTW....how did you get your Phin dollars back? I had over 15,000 and another 55,000 in the bank...all gone.

Thanks for the read. When I read the thread title, I figured it was another article about our OL. But, it's good to see the DL getting some "airtime".

Not a prob bro. Anything I can do to help our current fans. Only thing was it was posted and I didnt see it.....I have to use that search button more often. Didnt have the ole coffee this AM till just now...:lol:
 
I am glad to see us get young...Wright, Evans, and Roth will have an impact this year. Traylor will not be on this team next year.
