So we continued our seemingly inescapable mediocrity with another 8-8 record. For years now this team has had the uncanny ability to win just enough games to give the fan base hope, only to tear it's collective heart out... Absolutely soul crushing.

At any rate, at our 8-8 record is comprised of one win against playoff bound opponents... One lousy win against top competition. Here's how our W-L record shook out.

Vs playoff competition : 1-5 ( Pats at home week 1...)
Vs .500 or better competition : 3-7 (Pats, Bills, Chargers)
Vs sub .500 competition : 5-1

So essentially, we feasted on bad teams, but couldn't compete against the big boys, not even close. This team is the manifestion of Joe Philbin's terribly average nature and coaching aptitude.
After how miserably the past 2 seasons have ended, after how blatantly this team has quit 2 week 17's in a row, after what a circus our locker room is AGAIN, after how Joe Philbin has shown no ability to win a big game against a good team, I find it to be a complete joke that he is coming back as coach. He has done nothing to deserve another shot.
After all that I've seen from this team in the last 3 years, Ryan Tannnehill is the only true, special bright spot, and our ONLY hope of making the playoffs in 2015 is if he has a top five QB type season and carries the team... After seeing what a disaster the locker room dynamic is, I find it to be much more likely that the team totally shows Philbin no respect, quits on him, and goes 5-11. There will be only so much Ryan will be able to do with this Christ awful disaster of a team.

But but but we NEED consistency, what a joke. The Cubs of the NFL is what we have become.

Why are you all acting like this was a blowout game? We competed all the way to the end and only a trick punt play by a coach coaching his last game ended a potential game winning drive.

We were outscored 23-7 in the 2nd half. We got our asses kicked at home by a bad team... Again. **** Joe Philbin.

Geno Smith. Only perfect passer rating in the NFL this year. Does anything else really need to be said?
