our young cb's are amazingly talented i did not see 1 catch on sean smiths wr, vontae played good got burned a couple times because he didnt take the right angles but he will learn! it all comes with exp

Gibril Wilson is not playing in his right safety position i really think our front office messed up in this move hes should be playing bells position but bell is better then him at that so whats the point?

-Why no Kory Sheets? Lex hillaird has shown NOTHING no speed no breaking tackles NOTHING.

Tedd Ginn is worthless for us he really is his Kick Returning today disgusted me.

i would really like to see Clemons get more playing time in passing situations

We need Ronnie brown back at no.1 RB ricky is a great no.2 nothing more

we really really need a no.1 wr

hartline is impressive and has great effort

Chad Henne is impressive and has a lot of poise battling the whole game and throwing passes into small windows.

i am not sold on solai as a full time starter!

i love where our franchise is headed

I do like Hilliards ability to lay a hit on someone. He's a north-south type of guy. Unfortunately, I don't see the shiftiness that Sheets has and displayed in college, but Hilliard is a power back. I do think that Sheets should get some time as he could probably change the pace of the game if he's ready to.

I am not sold on our corners, but this is about what I expected. We would give up a lot of plays.

Not worthless, but he is not a good receiver.

I agree that his intangibles are good. His mechanics, touch, and game management need significant work. I am optimistic that we have found a solid QB.

I expected more of a learning curve for Smith. Recruited as a wide receiver...the guy can blanket a wide out. He has "coverage" written all over him, but he hasn't learned to play the ball as well. His tackling will improve with time and another off-season to help him.

We kind of knew coming into the draft, Vontae is a physical corner, not afraid to lay a hit and will make his plays. Smith isn't as physical, but can cover well. They'll both improve. You can't learn if you don't make the mistakes. And I'm glad they're getting them out of the way now. Hopefully that means next season they'll come in more prepared, more experienced and a solid tandem at cornerback.

My observation is something I posted before the season: I'd prefer to have the opposite late season scheduling, finishing up with two road games instead of two home games. Right now we've played 8 roadies and 6 homers. Imagine if that were reversed? We might have banked another win or two and be in great shape, controlling our destiny.

If you play someone on the road early in the season to recently, they will be playing full blast. But there's always a chance with a late road game to catch a team that doesn't care anymore and the fans basically aren't there.
