Some Of The Posts Here Make Me Sick....

ill be returning next week... ill let all you chicken littles keep saying daunte is a bum .. zach is overatted... JT is overated ronnie is a bust... you guys are so dumb you dont realize we lost to the DEFENDING SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS!!! get a hold of yourselves...

The problem with your analogy is that the Defending SB champions get to play as well. And we if can't beat them, then our chances of being SB champion are not good. Most NFL games are close. Most are decided by less than 10 points. There are no prizes or cookies or parting gifts for being "close in the fourth quarter". You either leave with a W or an L. Today, the Fins are 0-1. The season isn't over. It just means that in our one chance to get a victory, we did not.

The good news is that their are 15 more chances for us to get this fixed. The bad news is that we lost this game in the same fashion we lost many games before....big plays given up on defense and not establishing a running game and the QB making huge mistakes at the end.

Next Sunday, we get to try again. And the commentary will/should be based on that game. If we win, the posters here should reflect that. If we lose I imagine that hell will break loose on this board...and rightfully so.

Uh...carefull there Dominospizza. I've been a fan for 35 years and from your profile it appears that you are in your mid 20s. If thats true, then I have been a fan 10 years longer than you've been alive. I am not saying that I have more credentials as a fan than you, but you don't have more credentials than a "newbie" fan either. Every fan here is entitled to give his opinion of each game, regardless of how long they've been a fan or how many posts they've made on Finheaven.

I suppose everyone can make there own Opinion just some are actually crazy and should not be posted. Age does not matter becuase ignorance is something that affects all kinds of life. Not saying you are or not, But saying age does not matter

Thats not true. Usually Miami is able to pull games out in the 4th Quarter. We usually play our BEST in the 4th.

The breakdown last night surprised me.

thank you...i agree and it makes me sick to...to think some people just dont have any faith...come on people!!!!!
 
A close game simply comes down to one or twp plays that makes the difference. Before punting the ball to Pitts that lead to that meltdown in the secondary and loss of the lead, we had a 3rd and 2. WE had the ball in THEIR territory. WE HAD THE LEAD. Let me see, we had the ball, the lead, and field position, with time winding down. If we convert that 3rd and 2, it's a whole different outcome. I was sick with the play call on 3rd and 2.
Basically, other than our D-line, we played like hell and we were in position to beat the championsat the end of the game. that's not too shabby. With a win next week against the Bills, this game is forgotten.

Nailed it. It's like this EVERYTIME the Phins lose. You sort of get used to it and expect it. There's nothing wrong with criticizing the team/players after a loss, but some folks here take it to the extreme and make themselves look silly and clueless. The VIP section looks better and better all the time.
 
I imagine this site will look like this after every loss, "we're doomed, might as well forfeit the rest of our games". But that does indeed seem to come mostly from our younger, less mature fans. And they have a right to their opinion, wrong as it may be.
 
Everyone really has to chill out. We are all on the same side here. When I woke up this morning, I was pretty bummed out thinking about the loss last night, but we got 15 left. I mean come on, we got a great season ahead of us!!
