Tannehill has sucked but stop giving this pathetic defense a pass. It's happened for years. Like Tannehill their stats look good at times but rarely keep momentum on the side of the Dolphins after they score points.

I'm not giving the defense a pass. I'm just saying Tannehill is a much bigger problem for this team than the defense.

LOL....Hoyer was 19 for 25 with 290 yards, a TD, and no picks against the Ravens defense that demolished the Steelers last week. Without a single legit receiving threat on his team. Check yourself.

The same Hoyer who led a game-winning drive against the Saints last week and played turnover-free football.

I'm not saying Hoyer hasn't played well, just saying the fans wanted him benched after ONE game. Hoyer isn't great but he doesn't suck...he's mediocre.

I blame the defensive scheme more than the players, that soft cushion d really pisses me off.

Now there is an example of a QB who wasn't responsible for his team's loss. They almost always had a major penalty derail their drives, their young RB's sometimes ran backwards out of bounds behind the LOS, and at other crucial times were trying to take hand offs on the wrong side of the formation. Despite near constant third and longs he scarcely had a pass hit the ground.

This loss wasn't all on him, he actually played his best game of the year today (which is an issue in itself, since we scored only 13 points on O), there's a lot of fingering pointing to do but he once again showed that he just can't rally a offense, he can't win those games, he just looks like a mediocre to poor NFL QB, back up material at best, hell look at Washington's back up and tell me you prefer Tanny to him ?

Grimes always comes out to make a high energy play but like the rest of the DB's I see him whiffing badly on so many TD or big runs that he's not isolated from the rest in my mind right now.

RT17 is obviously bad on his own merit. Today was just another exhibit is the case against him.
What was really perplexing today was the play calling. After gashing the KC defense running the ball, we pass on 2nd and 1 and 3rd and 1. WTF?
Some of the assignments on defense were just ridiculous. Wake covering a RB? Talk about putting your players in position to fail.
This team is in REAL BIG TROUBLE. Not only are the players already questioning the staff, but it looks like the staff is not working together and Philbin cannot get control.
Ross and Marino better call some meetings and get this BS straightened out.
The staff, coaches and team need to air out their differences right now.

Of course they have issues all over the place. The QB, however, is the most important position on the field, and will be the most scrutinized. This guy can't go one game without having terrible throws, getting sacked, and having passes batted down.

If the offense scores more.often it will keep the defense off the field and put pressure on opposing offenses to abandon their gameplan or at least force augmentation of it. I CAN't excuse the poor defense play due to the gross mismanagment of the roster by Ireland.....
