He lied to the team. No good reason for this IMO. He said after his show was over he would return and he had no intention on coming back.
I have no respect left for him. He burned it all down.
How do we know that he lied to the team?
How do we know that the FO did not lie to Taylor. They said he was not on the block and then they shopped him behind the scene?
We don't know...
We just have to go with our gut feelings...unless you have inside proof that the media has not gotten a hold of...
I think it started something like this...
* not gonna trade JT
* shop JT
* JT gets mad, then thinks hey that would be great
* Teams don't give up a 1st or 2nd round pick for a guy that might play another couple of years or might just retire right now
* JT tells team he will be there win it counts...but still wants a new team
* BP and company dig in even more
* Fans turn on JT like a like a hungry wolf on some fresh meat
...might end like this...
* JT retires
* JT traded
* JT stays and plays yet another hell of a year
Either way a player with JT's talents missing some OTA action and getting hammered by fans...please try again. He does not need that to play for a team that might win 5 games this season.
I bet a lot of the fans that say things like...
* I am a fan of this team not a PLAYER.
* JT is under contract he should play it out. (just like the teams let them always right...lol)
* JT lied to us (Instead of pulling a CJ and making more waves than a title wave)
the majority of them...would love to bring in CJ "MR SELFISH" himself. I guess he is a team player...
No he just mentioned willing to play for a team that will not win 5 games, right after saying he will not play for a losing team. That would be great to get him in here this season. Then after the first play we could all watch the boards and those that wanted him here...KNOWING that he is a "I" player before "TEAM PLAYER" would be saying how bad he sucks. But then on the 2nd play..he scores and they all love him.
I want this TEAM to have some class and let JT move on...simply as that. Holding a player hostage for a 1st or 2nd when you would be lucky to get a 3rd is just plain crazy.
