Wow!! I've never seen so many idiotic posts in one day before! :shakeno:

OK, here's some bright sides from the game.

Gus did FINE. That's right. He did a good job. On the road vs. the NUMBER ONE DEFENSE IN THE NFL he threw for 267 yards, no INTs. He had some drops that easily would have put him over 300 yards. Chambers missed an easy TD in the first quarter. If the ball hits BOTH hands, it has to be caught. Period.

Ricky is going to be a weapon. I loved how we moved Ronnie all over the field. He was in the slot as much as in the backfield. There was one play where RB was in the slot and RW faked a reverse to him. That play would have worked HUGE. I'm surprised we didn't go back to that again.

Wes Welker. Get him the ball, all he does is make plays.

We are in good shape in a surprisingly weak division. Let's just keep the right attitude and watch how the season shapes up.

Remember, this was a non-divisional road loss.

So??

This post needs to be brought up 9 weeks from now. You make some solid points. If Nick Saban is who we believe him to be, and he is, all the things you mentioned will happen. This team is 2-3. People need to stop making assumptions based on one game's turnout. Will we make the Superbowl? No, but things will definately get better.

I'm still confused by those that are thinking that Coach Saban had some magical button that he would come in and press this button and POOF the Dolphins are Super Bowl bound.

After 5 games, people are saying he's not a good coach. Well gee ladies....he's a rookie coach. He's learning too. And I"m sure he's sorry that he hasn't made you happy and given you candy just yet.

People, the Dolphins are a new team. Yesterday the Dolphins lost to a better team. Simple. Yes mistakes were made. So........

Get over it, its just a game. Maybe a month away from football might do you some good.

NO hes not a rookie coach...he was in the NFL long before ...not as head coach..but still not a rookie

Yes he is a rookie coach. He's a rookie head coach. If someone has never been something before, then they're a rookie.

wow you really need to take off the rose colored glasses. If Gus had been a little more accurate and not turned over the ball so much we might have had a chance. To say he played well is ridiculous.

Theres a big difference between being a coordinator and being the head coach. You may not consider him a rookie, but this whole head coaching thing at the NFL level is new to him. Give him a break for god sakes.

It's not ridiculous. You are witnessing a team, that is looking for its identity. We are all going to have to be patient. We have the weapons, but its going to take time.

This was a team lose like all the others.

Except for the inaccurate overthrows and coughing up the ball when he was sacked. Come on, he had a sub-par game. I agree with all of your other points 100% though.
