Some guys that will be free agents that I think are worth taking a look at if these needs aren't addressed via the draft:

Cato June-Fast and made the pro bowl last year with 10 INTs. Had 142 tackles. His price tag might not be worth it, which would be when we'd go after Briggs or Thomas, but he might fetch less, who knows? That is if Indianapolis can't resign him. BUT, it is highly doubtful that they will resign him and Dwight Freeney.

Ken Hamlin-Good chance that Seattle can resign him, but if he's let go, he is still very yound, and when healthy is an excellent safety. Probably top 6 or 7 in the league.

Michael Lewis-Great young safety is only 26 years old. A pro bowler in the making. Definitely a guy to take a look at if we don't address our secondary issues via the draft, or if we move Allen to corner.

Chris Brown-Still think that he would be a valuable compliment to Ronnie if his price tag isn't too high.

Cory Redding-If we do add depth at DT, he's a good YOUNG guy with huge upside. He's been solid in Detroit on an overall subpar defense. Again...athletic and young, he's only 26 and could make a huge impact.

Drew Bennett-Can still stretch the field, although he wouldn't be quite the threat of a Ted Ginn. If we don't address WR in the draft, he's a guy that we'd have to look at.

Just some thoughts. I'm sure I'll get bashed. Not really worried about it. Just naming some guys that aren't quite so obvious.

I dont think we will need him because of Ricky possibly coming back.

Great post !!!!!!

U get me pupmed to take a look at Michael Lewis he is a monster!!!

Cato June- I think he's to small for our system, but he's definitly a play maker, Cato is more of a WLB and we need a SLB.

Ken Hamlin- I dont really want to add another safety because of the possibility of drafting a safety such as Landry or Nelson, and Yeremiah Bell played very well when given the opportunity

Michael Lewis- See above, and i heard he's terrible in coverage, which is why his back up (considine) gets so much play time.

Chris Brown- Not if ricky is coming back.

Cory Redding- This wouldent be a bad idea actually, if Detroit wasnt able to reatain him he would be a definte target

Drew Bennett- Again, i think it may be a real possibility that we draft a Dwayne Jarett or Tedd Ginn. That would also make our already crowded WR corp more crowded.

just my opinion:wink:

why would we want another saftey when we have bell and jason allen was our #1 pick last year imo we dont need another saftey we need help at WR IN the 1st round :dolphins: CC is NOT A #1 RECIVER :dolphins:

your right, not system, he dosent fit our personel. He's just too small, he cant play the position we need (spragans position). Also, i dont see the defense changing much with capers having a 3 year extension on the table, itll be just about the same.

I say that because i have seen many mock drafts saying we might pick a safety (nelson or landry), and yeah we also have Bell, like i said. WR is also a good option especially Jarret or maybe Tedd Ginn.

O line, DT, corner back, WR, PK in that order weither its through the draft or FA. JMHO

They're not obvious because they aren't that good.

It all depends on what Capers and the coach coming in thinks of Bell. If he isn't sold on him he might want to draft someone to challenge him for the spot!

My Eagles friends tell me it's more of a mental thing. Basically like he lost "it" this past year and was subsuquently benched. Seems like a classic "benefit from a change of scenery guy". I know he has a lot of talent and people up here were all over him as the next Brian Dawkins.

I honestly wouldent mind him. He is very talented and GREAT in run support, i think Y. Bell could hold the fort down for a little while though.
