Some perspective: I'll prescribe Prozac for all the borderlines

Guys, guys.... I was just as heartbroken as any of you... I understand, but for crying out loud, lets take a step back and assess the situation here.

1) We're coming off the worst NFL season this franchise has ever suffered, we were complete jokes.... Now we're trend setters in the NFL (i.e. Wildcat)

2) This season, we were not supposed to be contenders... the fact that we just beat the two AFC champ teams is a testament that perhaps the curve isn't as big as we once thought if would be...


BUT lets also embrace some reality here....

1) Our secondary is questionable.. As someone else pointed out, Big Physical WR's decimate us... we just can't cover them to save our lives..

2) We do not have ANY WR's out there. Listen, Camarillo is a good kid, and might even develop to take that slot role (i.e. welker) ... but who are we kidding, ppl will move up and press all day long.

The texans are much better than their record let on, and they were a desperate, desperate team... those are the most dangerous...

This team is without a shadow of a doubt headed in the right direction, despite this loss, I'm still proud to be a fan (hell I weathered last season, we've already eclipsed our win total from last year)...

Now lets picture this: another draft PLUS another free agency round... can you imagine the possibilities?

Lets relax... and we'll get those ravens next weekend.

Thank you. Sure, we all have our hopes up for a huge turnaround and making a Superbowl run, it would be great. But lets face it, Our head coach last year was Cam Cameron, who knows how far he has set us back. Now we have a winner as a head coach, not to mention a roster full of young playmakers, they are developing and getting better. Is it possible that we go 9-6? Why the hell not, if we dont, its not something to worry about. We have been in and fought tough in every game, except for Arizona who had players that could exploit our every weakness. Its okay to be pissed about this game, but lets not act like its the end of the world.

I love the post. But you gotta understand all the morons come out after losses and flood the board with negativity. Just the way it goes I guess.
