After looking at a bunch of different mocks, I came to a realization. The talent pool at the major positions of need for Miami could really thin out by pick # 25. There are a few key players that we need to be selected before pick # 25, so that more talent in Miami's positions of need are pushed back into pick # 25.

Here are the players that will really determine what targeted players are available at pick # 25:

CB Vontae Davis - Though he is of a major position of need for Miami, I really hope he is selected before # 25. He has major talent, but his attitude sucks and he can be lazy and undisciplined. He should be gone by # 25, which means some other talent will be pushed down to Miami.

WR Percy Harvin - He will not be drafted by Miami and he is talented enough to be drafted before # 25. Let's hope he pushes some other talent to # 25.

WR Darrius Heyward-Bey - Another receiver that may be selected before # 25, possibly by the Bears. Let's hope this happens.

RB Knowshon Moreno - It's really hard to figure out where this running back will be drafted. He definitely has the talent to be drafted before # 25, but i have seen mocks with him being selected after # 25. Let's hope he sends some other talent to # 25.

QB Josh Freeman - If this guy is selected before Miami picks, I will attempt a backflip. Push some more talent to Miami!

If all of these players are still on the board when Miami is on the clock, we may not be happy with what's available.

Does anyone else have some players that they think should be on this list?

If they are still on the list, we obviously go with Vontae Davis, who seems to be unanimously the 2nd best CB in the draft. However, if not and the other guys are on the list, we should still have a crack at FS Louis Delmas or WR Hakeem NIcks.

I actually look more at the teams; Green Bay and Denver. They're going 3-4, neither team as the personel for the 3-4 (especially Denver). Depending on who they pick, DE/OLBs could shoot up the board as could guys that could play ILB (meaning Little Animal,Cushing, and Rey Rey).

If Denver takes BJ Rajii (they need a NT more than anything else IMO), the draft is more favorable for us in terms of BPA filling a need.

Yea, if Vontae Davis is there, Miami will grab him. I'm just personally hoping he gets selected before us. He has all the talent in the world and has the ideal size and speed you need at CB, but I keep hearing that he is very immature. He should be gone before 25 anyway.

I can't wait until the draft is over, so i can stop obssessing about it.

OVERRATED, if he is there when we pick we will NOT take him, Parcells doesnt waste picks, which is the reason we wont take laurenitis unless he is at our 44

Don't know where any of these guys will go, but I don't think BP will draft any of them so...If Vonte Davis has a TUDE problem...he won't even waste his time there.
