Well, despite the gut-wrenching loss, there's plenty to be upbeat about. For those who like statistics, check these three out:

1) We're +4 on turnovers now. That's good enough for 6th in the league.

2) Chad Pennington's 98.8 QB rating is 7th in the league. He is having a great season without major weapons to throw to.

3) Joey Porter is 2nd in the league with 6.5 sacks (7 is the most).

Dont forget ronnie brown leading the league in rushing touchdown with 7

I'd rather be sixth in the league in wins. Don't care about our turnover ratio or QB rating. I want them to score more points than the other side in those 60 minutes.

I can't stand seeing that over and over. Has anyone actually watched Pennys passes? Only long completions are to wide open receivers where there is no threat of something bad happening. He struggles just to get it to either sideline, much less bombs down the field. I'm not complaining about Penny, he's done what was asked of him. Just waiting for the Chad #2 who can make those throws (based on pre-season games).

You've forgot to mention Schaub and Johnson's carreer nights last night. And where do we rank in the passing yards per completion category? On either side of the ball?

I agree with Spiff. we're 2-3. That's what matters.

I can answer that for you.

Pennington is currently tied for 4th in the league in yards per completion. He currently averages 8 yards per completion.

Defensively, we are 30th in the league in terms of yards per completion. We allow 8.3 yards per catch.

REALLY?!! Damn. I've been schooled right there!!

This doesn't surprise me and is the reason for at least two, if not all three of our losses.
