Some reasons to smile?

patience guys. Miami is a year or so away anyhow. This year they will improve just because of ronnie and ricky we should at least win a couple more than last year even if they put Mare at qb. I also think that the defense will be strong by the end of the season and the o-line will continue to improve as the season goes on. Saban and company just needs time to teach these guys to see what they can do. They just so happened to play the Steelers this past week and the fins are not able to match up with them just yet. Remember the Steelers should have been the champs last year and could be this year. Considering this it was a pretty good thing to see that the 1st team d keep their O scoreless. The 7 points was against the O. No dynasty was built in one training camp

I would just put Middleton in the lineup and move Hadnot over to Guard right now. Let Middleton play his way into shape and in the meantime he will be getting used to playing with the guys around him now rather than later. Just get McKinney out. And while Nick is at it, put Randy McMichael on notice.

If you just put Middleton out there he may get someone hurt. Out of shape he is better than most 2nd stringers, but against starters he will struggle. As far as Sweathog I agree, he needs to get out of there. Leave Randy alone, the guy has been a stud, he has one game and you are ready to "put him on notice." :shakeno: No offense but Im glad you arent the coach.

This team is not as far away as some think, but we are not as close as others believe. I really think that 7-9 or 8-8 is a reasonable goal.

It seems like Fin fans are so used to a winning traditional there expectations this year are way to high. You will have a good team (possibly great) but it will take time. I see a lot of comparisons like "San Diego did it, so can we". Well, they didn't go through an influx of changes like the Miami organization has.

With new players, new coaches, new schemes on both sides of the ball, etc. it's going to take time for this team to be where Saban wants it.

Patience!

I can't believe I'm agreeing with the Bills fan, but I have been saying this for months. It usually takes a couple of years.
