With all of the talks of trading up and the best players being in the top 15, let's talk about some guys who may outperform 1st rounders.
Defense

1. CB Senquez Golson- Two words, PLAY MAKER. Ball skills are off the charts. Fits that height-weight-speed our coaching staff covets. Take him in the 3rd Hickeybaum!

2. LB Paul Dawson- The off the field issues and the poor combine worries me, plays faster than he tested, but this guy is crazy talented. Would take him over Kendricks and Perryman.

3. LB Kwon Alexander- A bit undersized and needs to finish plays more often but very fast/instinctive and gets off blocks very well for his size.

Offense

1. OT Mitch Morse- Day 1 starter on our offensive line. He's an OT but projects more as an OG.

2. RB Tevin Coleman- Not talked about like Gordon and Gurley; mind you he ran for over 2,000 yards. His OL makes him look better than he his, his ability to move at that size is undeniable though.

3. WR Sammie Coates- Not so much of a sleeper but the more I watch him I see things that can be corrected.

I like Diggs, Austin Hill, Alex Carter Taiwon Jones, Corey Robinson and Kevin White CB

i like Golson too... but be careful, he gets out of position often going for the big play. he tends to leave his assignments and where he is supposed to be. plays undisciplined in a way.

the thing about golson is definitely a playmaker on the ball but where you gonna play him??? miami just signed a starting slot in free agency...at his size i think that's where he's gonna play...dont see kwon alexanders value for miami other than adding another olb to the mix...mitch morse is supposedly gone by end of day 2 as are coleman and coates...

Mentioned this in VIP chat, before he attended UNI he worked as a Custodian for the school to gain access to the weight room. Kid has some great work ethic from what I hear.

I think Chris Conley could be a potential sleeper. maybe not good from day 1, but he's got the measurables.

Coates/Perriman - whos got the better or more correctable hands? less stiff?

I see Golson being able to start on the outside, probably not in his rookie year, but he should get there eventually. Chris Harris, Jason Verrett, Brent Grimes are similar sized CB's starting on the outside.

With the exception of Dawson, Golson, and Morse I'm not targeting any of these players for Miami.

not sure if sleeper.... but DT- Xavier Cooper and CB- Steve Nelson

Golson is one of my top 3 Cbs in the draft. His ability to read and track the play while mirroring his man is the best in this class. His height is the only knock and Brent Grimes has shown how big a deal that can be.

CB D.J. Smith FAU

very fast, very quick kid... recovers fast too with nice hips, he doesnt find the ball well though, he doesnt have great route awareness, bites a lot on double moves. if he gains knowledge he can be very nice.... look at CB- Jacoby Glenn as well... thoughts???

I do not think I would call anyone on that list a sleeper.

Golson is being overlooked by a lot of folks, Dawson went down plenty of boards after the combine, Alexander is rarely talked about, Morse just started getting attention days before the draft, and Coleman is often forgotten as the 5th-6th RB with the numbers he put up. Coates is the only one who is not a sleeper per se because he played in/for the SEC/relevant team.
