The end might be near for Jamil Douglas, who had just EIGHT snaps last night. That's crazy.

The Dolphins' most-used offensive player Friday night? Laremy Tunsil, who was on the field for 59 percent of Miami's offensive snaps.

Tunsil got more than twice as many snaps as Dallas Thomas (39 to 19)

Turner played much more than Thomas. And has a much better chance of being a Week 1 starter.

Curiously, only 12 snaps for Dolphins' Chris McCain last night. (Fede had 30.) 1 snap on offense for Jakeem Grant.Just 8 for Jamil Douglas.@flasportsbuzz

Pead got the call-up to the 1st string this week and stuck a dagger in Damien Williams' heart with that big play in the passing game.

I can only hope..

Jordan Phillips was on the field for 31 defensive plays last night. Zero tackles, sacks or quarterback hits.

Grant only getting 1 snap might mean they want to try to stash him on the PS?

Im not sure if Fede is going to make it or not. It looks like they gave him a good look last night. He seemed to be aware this was his opportunity and was a little anxious (he had that one offsides play I recall).

I dont think they can get away with that IMO and I believe he has made the 53...

Miami HC Adam Gase called some smart, well-designed plays last night. Even some that didn't work (slant to Jordan Cameron) were good calls.

Breath of fresh air from Lazor.

I agree with what CK said.

They're trying to "hide" Grant. Like he said his speed is different. He's gonna be a weapon.

This is what I think also... they don't want to show too much of how they plan to use grant until the wins and losses start to count.

No way Grant is going to the PS. We will need all the field position we can get with the way our defense played last night. PS for what? that's not going to make him a better return guy and there's no way he's going to get many snaps at WR anyway(parker, laundry, stills and carroo) so the way he can help this team is returning kicks. Imo he already made the 53. Field position will be hugh for us and he can help us there.

Ozzy rules!!

Grant not taking that late 2nd half punt return they gave whalen tells you hes on the 53 already

I dont think it has anything to do with hiding grant be it his lack of wr run or due to ribs...the wr run is about evaluating others...guys like scott, hazel, whalen, caroo even

They're hiding Grant's ribs, not Grant.

Everyone knows about Grant. you can't hide a guy that little ><

I'm beginning to think this guy is a bust.

Not encouraging so far, hoping we see better.

That was a Mike T pick reportedly and while it was a need when you go take a look once again at who the pick might have been..like a LB. Hopefully he starts showing more soon.

I agree, you can't hide players like Grant in today's NFL. Teams have their eyes and ears everywhere. Besides once teams start fearing his kickoff skills, they'll just kick it in the end zone.

That thought was creeping into my head last night watching the game. I made sure to keep an eye on him for the most part and he did absolutely nothing. There are many reasons our defense is getting **** on especially stopping the run and he's a big one.
