Some teams would kill to be 3-4 right now. Stay positive and shoot for the wildcard.

I am switching modes at this point in the season, acknowledging this team isn't great by any means, but we're still in a position to go 10-6 and get in the playoffs. Sure, it's been super disappointing this season, but I'm not ready to give up.
 
Y would you want to go into the playoff if your team can't beat any good teams that are in its division. If we go will most likely play against the Ravens or some other team that will kick our ass. This team needs to regroup and find some mental toughness or every single game we play will end up like N.E. and N.O. game.

that's a great point, but still doesn't change the fact we'd be in the playoffs. and once you're there you never know. tim tebow proved that a couple years back. and mark sanchez.

Who wouldn't want to go the playoffs? The possibility decreases each week, but I would love for this team to finish strong and make the playoffs.

Didn't we already play the Ravens? I dont remember an ass beating.
 
Tim Tebow was there because Fox was a beautiful offensive minded head coach who had a pretty good defense. Mark Sanchez....does he even play anymore...wait does tebow play anymore? Look, im not trying to a Dick but this team is not ready. There is nothing on this team and its play that shows me we are playoff ready. On top of that you need to win more than 8 games IMO to be ready for the playoffs. We are not the steelers or the giants (8 win teams that went on to win SB). And with this team losing like this there is no support from fanbase for a home game. And to be honest I DONT blame the fans for not showing up to such a silly team that shoots themselves in the foot .......every game. Don't ask for the playoffs right now. We need to draft better players and get this team some depth...much needed depth. And from the looks of it maybe even a new coaching staff. And if RT continues to play like he is....a new QB will be of need.
 
3-4 overall, 0-2 in the division, big loss to potential wildcard team. Playoffs? Alrighty.

I'd love to see them turn it around, but I keep seeing the same problems week in and week out once opposing teams apparently got enough tape on us.
 
Absolutely. Remain positive guys. I'm passed this loss already and just like the OP, have changed my mentality. We can still make the playoffs.

It starts now!
 
They didn't have their full team like Jones! Dude is a huge weapon!
 
Its looking like 8-8 or 9-7 will be good enough for a wild card playoff spot in the AFC. I don't think 8-8 or 9-7 is completely unreasonable for our team.
 
I am just being realistic Nubs. I don't see any heart, fight, or passion in this team. As soon as they go behind they give up. I went to that Falcons game because I believed in this team and they showed me characteristics of a great team I haven't seen in a very long time. Now its completely different. I want to see them go and succeed but I just don't see it happening. Sorry guys.
 
Show me we can play and win consistently, then I might consider the "what if's" of a playoff birth.
 
Am I missing something? I lost hope after the Saints game, not because we lost but because we showed absolutely zero fight.
