Just want to throw around some numbers and information for those of you interested. First things first on a poll on nfl.com it asks who made the defensive play of the week, WINNER: Porter's sack on edwards in the end zone with a % of 71!. I thought that was pretty cool

Now for the real stuff:
CHAD PENNINGTON!!!!!
Leads the AFC East with a passer rating of 100.5 compared to Farve's 89.5, Edwards:92.5 and Cassel: 84.6
Leads the AFC East with completion percentage of 69.3 compared to Farve's 68.5 Edwards 67.9 and Cassel: 65.8

Just a little side note the only other qbs in the NFL to have higher passer ratings: Romo, Rivers Warner amd Brees

Now for some fun stuff Pennington:
Leads the AFC East with 20 plays of 20+ yards, 5 plays of 40+ yars, TD/INT Ratio of 42.8%.
Oh and for all you Farve lovers YPG Pennington leads that with 244.3

you would be surprised, listening to 790 the ticket people were callin in sayin Henne is our future he should be getting playing time lol

Chad Pennington is a calm, cool BEAST! He is everything we could ask for in QB. He surely stays collected when things get crazy in the pocket. Thank you Jets! How about the throw to Ginn to start it off? My jaw was on the ground!!

There are still Pennington haters?

Well there are plenty of people that would like to see Henne...Heck, I'd like to see him too, but, not at the price of sacrificeing a season when there is still ligit hope of a playoff bearth. When (if) we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs I'd like to see Henne getting the reps and the starts.

I'm not sure about Pennington being everything we could ask for in a QB but he is the right QB for a very young and inexperienced wide receiving corps. The six receivers listed on the active roster has a total of 14 years of experience with the two most experienced receivers being inactive for most of the season.

Exactly. Of course I want too see Chad Henne, who doesn't? He's our quarterback of the future and fans are anxious too see the goods. HOWEVER, the reason Pennington was brought in was to be a bridge and man the helm until Henne is ready. Quite frankly, aside from that really, really bad INT in the Baltimore game, Chad Pennington has done a damn good job as the Dolphins quarterback. Pennington has probably been the best of all the "Post Marino Era" quarterbacks.

Not playing in the Meadowlands agrees with him.

Yup, although I'm not really a hater, I just want better all around quarterbacking. Besides, QB ratings don't win games, teams do! Not only that, turn those rating from worst to first, and you have the AFC east standings.
