Said chad Pennington commanded that team and was a great leader. Raised his voice and got everyone fired up. Said that Pennington was a great leader and had the respect of everyone on the team.

He said chad henne didn't have the respect of the players and in his words was seen as a "p**sy".

Lastly said right or wrong amongst a lot of players in the league they talk about staying away from Ireland. He says he comes off as a holier than though as a gm.

Dont know where you guys get your info but i could tell you that Jeff has a very good reputation around the league and also with our players. Jeff job is not a easy job, damn if you do or damn if you dont. One thing i could tell you is that he will not overpaid for loud mouth players. That incident with Dez Bryant was Dez fault with the way that he answer the question, think again? the conversation between Ireland and Bryant began when Ireland asked what Bryant’s father did for a living. “My dad was a pimp.”
“What did your mom do for a living?”
“She worked for my dad.”

If my dad is a pimp and my mother works for him what would be the first thing that will come to your mind???? bookkeeper or astronauts???
come on..... he will get out of his way to help any player in this team, as Ricky Williams!

Idiotic post, there is no reason to ever ask another man if his mom is a prostitute, unless you want to get punched. Jeff Ireland is an idiot, period.

If I am going to pay a young 20 year old millions of dollars, I feel I should know as much about them as I want and will ask whatever questions I want. Bryant is the one who offered up the info that she worked for his pimp father. Maybe she was a book keeper????
 
Good thing it took Ireland 4 years to figure out Henne blew... glad he isn't in charge of picking QB's anymore.... o wait

Let me preface this by saying I DO NOT WANT HIM, becuase I know that is what this post will turn into, but did Penney announce he's making a comeback or something???? I saw his name scrolling in the free agent QB list last night on NFL network and was so shocked I had to rewind it to make sure I was seeing things right. Like I said I DO NOT WANT HIM, just curious to know if he's trying to make yet another comeback or maybe his name was just there because he hasn't announced retirement.
 
Players staying away from Miami? There are very few players with the precious privileged of determining their value and where they play. If it's a difference of accepting the realities of life the majority of us live every day making a normal wage doing real work... they'd jump at the chance to play for Miami and continue their careers.

What a bunch of baloney.
