QB: For all u Dante haters do u realize the dude completed 70% of his passes behind that pathetic showing from the line. That in itself is remarkable. Joey can stay where he is for now. That pick was a bone head throw, but every QB does that from time to time, especially when the line is blocking like wet tissue paper. It takes time to get the ball down field, which Dante is excellent at.
RB: I know I am going to get flamed for this, but does this guy dance like crazy or am I having John Avery flashbacks...He does finish runs hard, someone just needs to get him to hit the hole like he means it.
OL: Ouch, they are playing like a bunch of clowns. Our line played pretty well down the stretch last year, will never understand why this organization has to turn so many OL players over every year. Hopefull by week 3 they will start jelling somewhat.
DL: Ok performance, JT needs to get going and we will be fine here. Ross looks like a short armed midget out there, intensity will only get you so far. Bad pick.
LB: Solid play as usual.
CB: Ouch, almost reminds me of the hodge podge secondary we used to put out there before Surtain and Madison arrived. Another huge penalty that may have lost the game. I do not see much hope here....And for those yelling over not having Madison, u must not have watched the Giants game. That guy is cooked.

Coaching: I was a little hesitant over bringing in Mularcky, but honestlly his line is not giving him much to work with. He did abandon the run much to early IMHO though. Saban is pretty much letting his coordinators run the show, and still figuring out how to throw the replay flag.

Outlook: We need our line to improve or we are in for a long year. TOP will keep those misfits in the secondary off the field. Way too early to predict doom, but this group needs to get it moving against TN. Heres to hoping Saban isn't that latest college coach->NFL bust...The honeymoon is over.

this is where i quit reading because you made it obvious you either didn't watch the game or don't understand what you are looking at. the o line was nowhere near pathetic yesterday.

I don't think Ronnie was dancing very much at all. He was running with a purpose yesterday. I can think of one or two instances where the hole was collapsing and he had daylight if he'd just run outside. I like to see him do that every now and then, he certainly has the speed to turn a corner on a linebacker

7 Sacks good right, give me a break. Either u are or a member of the O Line, or you havent been watching the last 2 games.

I quit reading after the ronnie dances too much comment. For anyone that says this after yesterdays game, didnt watch the game at all, Im sorry...you just didn't. He didnt dance hardly at all yesterday and if he did, it was because the oline sucked again.

Look at the title of the thread.

1) This is a TEAM game.
2) Yeah our o-line was horrid...horrible...awful yesterday.
3) Ronnie Brown did all he could yesterday...he did not dance around at all...he hit the hole and got a lot of yards on his own.

Oh and how the hell did we look pretty good against the Steelers and look awful against the Bills? Overconfidence!!!

Go Fins!!!

Nowhere near pathetic? Daunte got sacked a bunch of times and Ronnie had one or two decent holes to run through.

I thought that comment was rather humorous....And I am the one that didn't watch the game.

It is amazing how every one likes to point an DC, guess that's the easy solution. For people that know something about football, the bad line play is blatantly obvious.

Our OL sucks, plain and simple, I watched the game, TWICE, (yes I'm a glutton for punishment, I was looking the second time for ANY signs of optimism) and sorry but how can anyone claim the OL wasn't bad when they gave up 7 count them, SEVEN, sacks!!!!

Daunte was responsible for about FIVE of those SEVEN sacks! Stop trying to rationalize things.

I disagree.....The Oline played better against the SB champions than they did against Buffalo. They couldn't pass or run block....just terrible.

I agree with you 100% - Brown rushed for 5+ yards per carry, and most of our sacks against you guys were coverage sacks. The BEST offensive line cannot hold together forever. Put some blame on Culpepper for holding on too long, and looking panicked...and put a little blame on your receivers for not being open. Where the heck was Chambers?? Is Wes Welker REALLY your best WR?? Looks like it so far.

Yeah, 70% pass completions is good...if your not sacked 50 times in a game. Go figure out his percentage of completed passes looking at how many times he dropped back to pass...as opposed to how many times he actually got the ball out of his hands, and the percentage is certainly nothing to write home about.

What they don't show on the tv is the excellent coverage the bills had going on.

Out of those 7 sacks Culpepper caused 4 of them by the 2 fumbles, and by the 2 holding on too the ball way, way too long. I really can't blame the OL for those.
