I know ranting is a bad idea after a heartbreaking, no heartripping out loss. And I know some would say take a deep breath and realize it's a new GM, a new OC, a new d line coach. Let's calm down the new regime is ONLY init's 3rd year.
Well, that is where I and maybe a few other differ-
Someone in the front office and coaching staff needs to get pissed, I mean angry. This game today was not going to be won by timeouts for the pack, or for running on 3rd and 8 so close to the end of the game! There needed to be example's set. HC grabbing a tannehill facemast and tellinh him stop that shiiit!
I know Ross is a fan and owner. I've read where people outside his stadium suite doors have heard things thrown across the room, have heard the ranting from that suite after a loss.
So who can get angry with benefit.

I have not seen Hickey lose it yet. I know he's new a d se. Anyone in that facility coud take a years study to learn all the words Danny strung together in his anger fits. And he answers to Ross, now 2 angry guys in the room. Add in JT who was likely in Ross's suite, I'll damn sure bet he wasn't nice. So now there are 3 pissed off anegy people in the room.
And JOE walks in with a green bay grin and boyish glaze over his eyes and says, "We played the Packers and we almost win....that was cool.

The time to remaim calm left before preseason even started. Soft spoken post games speecehes will do it anymore Joe. Who's gonna get pissed of up in them offices?????????

So when are the men in the room going to either sack up and straighten the coaches out, or to hire somone torhire someone to lead this team as it should be lead

A level head should be appreciated. A drama driven basket case is worthless. Fans do enough of that.

I'm in favor of replacing the head coach, and I think this one was real bad for Joe Philbin's coaching resume, but really? As frustrating as it is to think that our coaching staff blundered so badly in the last 30 seconds of the game that it turned victory into defeat, that wasn't a defeat that you fire a coach over. Really frustrating loss, I get that, but the general point of view out there is that this was a really dang good football game. I think if you just look at the game itself, rather than the fact that we are 2-3 and it probably means that we're not going to the playoffs, it was a good football game.

Ride it out. Unless you think there's some magic answer within the coaching staff who can replace Joe at doing whatever it is that Joe does, making a switch now is pointless. Lazor is a rookie OC who is growing into the position, and Coyle has a minor mutiny brewing on his hands. I think the bottom line is that the Dolphins lost to the best quarterback in the NFL on a day where he was red freaking hot, and it happened in the last 3 seconds. Your plan is what, to just fire Joe right now? It's not the time to do that. The time to do that is when we're out of playoff contention.

For what it's worth, I had Green Bay winning this one by 7-10 points. I was impressed by the resiliency and talent of the Dolphins, and how well our defense held up for three quarters. I was impressed by our offense's ability to come back and slam the Packers with very nice touchdown drives on three consecutive possessions to put us in position to win. I was not impressed at all by some poor game management at the end of what should have been a good upset win. I get that frustration, I really do. This was our chance to steal one and beat an elite quarterback at his best. And we blew it, and a huge burden of blame falls on our head coach. But this ain't the time for the fire sale.

Nah, I didn't mention firing, but instead, having an executive (Marino?) just blast this guy in his office, reminding him of just how hot his seat really is. and to call out his lame playcalls. "Joe, explain to me why this happened!" Make Dan the office enforcer, he's got enough passion for team to succedd!

What would that accomplish? Joe knows the stakes. He realizes he's probably going to get fired unless he pulls off a string of wins that look improbable right now.

How would having Dan Marino yell at him improve the situation?

He just wants to see some intensity, some passion, some LIFE! This guy walks around win or loss like hes sedated.

I want to see a coach pissed off about a loss, about basically gift wrapping the game for the opponent with absurd clock management. Not have the first words out of his mouth after a gut wrenching loss be "I think Greenbay deserved to win, they made more plays in the 4th qtr". OWN UP TO YOUR BRAIN-DEAD TIMEOUTS AND LATE GAME GAMEPLAN!!!

The sad part is I couldn't tell whether you were trolling here.

Then I read the rest and realized you weren't. :(
