...we didnt run the ball on 3rd & 2 instead of passing the ball? We still had one time-out and could've made our FG attempt alittle closer...possibly making the 1st down and going for the win with a TD....but at least try to get our kicker closer for a better attempt. :fire:

Please forgive me for this late post....I tried to post this before going to work last night.....traffic on here was too heavy.
 
Pass/Run

Maybe because they just might be expecting a run play. I wandering what kind of team the Dolphins would really have if some of the people here were coaching the dolphins!:sidelol:
 
On the last drive, there were 6 plays until the 3rd and 2.
We passed 6 times, completing 4 passes for 52 yards. Now please tell me one reason why you don't pass the ball?
If you run the ball there, you play for the tie.
If you pass, you play for the win.
I want our coaches and players to go for the win, not for a tie. I question our coaching a lot, but that call was right.
 
Welker was open on the right side, but Harrington never took his eyes off the left.

bingo.


the play call was fine, its just harrington never checked down to his other options. if he wouldve looked right, he wouldve seen welker WIDE open

this is what the situation is my friend mularkey has no clue on what this team can do he doesn't know that the run could be really effective against any team we have some really big guys up front i think they are too big to protct the QB really good but anyway if we ran the ball like we should of we accually would of won the game i know that for sure ronnie was great yesterday all the few big runs we had were cuz he ran threw the O and D line like they were not there if mularkey would have made an i formation with 3 WR on the field the D was lookin for a pass ronnie should of had at least first down plus 3 or 4 yards mularkey doesn't know how to call a game having a team run a toss play on 3rd and short is just stupid he did that yesterday that is my break down of the O-team i don't really think is the players fault i know that joey missed some passes yesterday but is mostly on mularkey he is what i would call pitiful he shouldn't have a job in the NFL at all
 
No way to win or lose this argument, passing was working well, made more sense to pass. Ronnie was running well, made sense to run, but we just came up short. Life in the NFL folks, get over it.

You should have seen my reaction. I JUMPED UP AND WAS SCREAMING YEAAHHH!! Because I saw Welker open and then I see him throw to the other side. That left me a little dumbfound but what can you do?
