I was doing some 'housekeeping' with my calendar today and I focused in particular around the Christmas time (family, work, friends, Dolphins etc). Our last home game/last game of the season is against the Jets. On December 28, 2014.
With the Patriots in trouble and the Jets maybe playing with a washed-up QB who is only a shadow of his former self (Vick) that game could be quite interesting besides just being a division game.

And it felt like Deja Vue. So I went into my DeLorian and went back in time .....

If you are looking for the edge, the special mantra, spiritual support or even the outrageous weirdness to create or sustain the eternal optimistic drive in you here is something to hold onto:

As I said our last game of the season is at home against the Jets on December 28. They may just be playing with Vick by that time. The Patriots are struggling this year.

In 2008 the Patriots were also struggling (Brady injury) and the Jets played with a washed up QB (Favre) and we captured the AFC East with a victory in our last game of the season against (yep) the Jets. The date: December 28, 2008

In 2008 we were also 2-2 after 4 games (with one victory against the Pats and a loss to another division rival [Jets]).

Since a bye-week can be long and boring I thought I just hand over these little tidbits.
Who knows maybe December 28 is a late Christmas for us again. :)

Now carry on.....................................

I was upset that we have to wait so long to shoot down the Jets this year, but like you say, things happen fora reason...

Hey, whatever helps. It is going to be a long 2 weeks. But I am almost as giddy for this Sunday like the Dolphins would be playing. Seeing our 3 division rivals lose will be pleasurable. I don't get the Bills game at 1 but the Jets in the afternoon and of course the Pats Sunday night.
