The FO must think we had one hell of a draft. Seven of the eight drafted rookies are on the active roster. The eighth (Duarte) in on the PS.

expect Lewis to go on the PS once Culliver is healthy. But it's not who makes the roster, it's who contributes. The Picks and Money draft had a bunch of people make the team but how many actually contributed?

You mean Lucas, right?

I would say they hit on Grant (for his round value), Tunsil, and Howard as all three will contribute.

The others are there because of draft and are depth players, but 3 getting regular contributors as rookies is a pretty solid draft.

if we could get a few skat plays from drake that'd be nice too, but i agree with your sentiment and if can get decent play from howard I agree it's a pretty damn solid draft.

If the Fins would have signed Miller and Matthews it would have left more wiggle room in the draft to acquire some defensive depth as opposed to a very poor trade up for Caroo and the other gadget players. And I'm not a fan Howard.

We didn't need either player. Miller isn't going to set the league on fire in Houston and Matthews is better off away from this franchise.

I'm fine with the draft for the exception of drafting Grant.

I'm not missing Mathews or lamar miller

If DVPs injuries persist through out the season, who is the other boundary receiver?

All eggs in one basket with Foster. If he goes down so does the running game.

Miller in divisional games was a lock to do nothing, every damn divisional game, nothing, I for one will be happy to see him not force our offense into 2nd and 3rd and long with his constant 1 yard runs and runs for no gain.

The few big runs every few games, greatly exaggerate his ability on the field.

I don't think so on the run game...I think it's about scheme more than talent there although if he goes down considerable drop off...I'd ride with ajayi though...I don't like the drake pead options at all...too much bounce tendency and tells...maybe pead but he wont last running inside the tackles

as for wr I think it's more about scheme production if parker goes down...there wont be as much iso as I'd expect with parker from gase...but they can still get people with smart playcalling and schematics...gase can do things to get guys off coverage etc and the qb will be checking out a ton cause gase is not a high id coverage with motion guy...he comes set

watching that Atlanta game the balls going where the coverage dictates it should with this qb and with this offense...pre snap read and progression

This is the one that gets me...Carroo has to work out as part of this draft IMO..

The Minnesota Vikings traded their third-round pick to the Miami Dolphins for the 186th pick in the sixth round and third- and fourth-round picks in 2017.

and you got a 3rd round grade wr in return out of it...didn't make sense then doesn't make sense now...but it still makes more sense than that drake pick

of course Miami said caroo was the 2nd rated wr on their board so they must have felt like they were getting a 1st rounder there back

For now I can ride with Gase's strategic abilities. No one can convince me that we wont drastically miss Miller.
