Carson Palmer has been sacked 34 times this year, 2nd most in the league. He also has 7 fumbles, also near the top for qb's. If our DB's and LB's can cover for 3 seconds or more, Wake, Branch and Co could have a great day.

he can also rip it in that offense....

it's going to be up to our defensive line to stop palmer truthfully...they have a lot of talent at the skill positions

I hope it's not our same defense that didn't get within 3ft of Flacco last week! Hopefully this week is different.

3 seconds or more?.....lol.......our back 7 couldn't cover anyone for 1 second last week, let alone 3 seconds

Ozzy rules!!

one way or another it will be a bloodbath

Damn man, you jinxed us, now we won't be close enough to sniff his cologne.

Yet I'd wager that we don't even register 1 sack.

That will happen when it takes the receivers 2 seconds before they actually reach the coverage.

This is exactly the type of situation that the old dolphins would flounder in. Matchup against a qb thats been hit a ton, on a team that sucks playing away....the old team would get manhandled upfront on defense and make the entire nation forget about how bad the oppositiong was at away games. We would probably end up hearing stats like "first time since 2014 they've allowed no sacks." Or "first away win since..."

Its an interesting coaching dilemma; we need to make adjustments to ensure the Cards don't copy what the Ravens did to us, but the Cards like hold the ball and throw it down the field. So if we adjust the Cards should just do what they normally do and if we don't adjust they should mimic what the Ravens did.

We need to stop their running attack (not likely) and close off those short passes (fingers crossed). If we fail on either one of those ... it'll be a long day. Sacks, penalties, 3rd down stops, turnovers ... we'll need to pull out all of the stops to give our offense a chance.

I would bet they go into it expecting the usual cardinals, but I can just about guarantee they spent a good portion of the week in a defensive game plan against what baltimore did.

I say we get at least one, and I have a hunch it will be more.

I think the turf will rub off all of the cologne Palmer has on - courtesy of Wake and others.
