While watching the game today, I couldn't help but notice the chemistry that our players seem to be developing. It seems like every player has a great attitude and are always pumping each other up. I'm not sure if that's because they're younger players, but it's great to see.

I also love Sparano's attitude on the sideline - he's not afraid to show his excitement on good plays or show his irritation with bad plays (like the bad punt by Fields).

I haven't had the fortune of watching the Fins many times this year during the regular season, so today I enjoyed every minute of it. It's great to see such enthusiasm and energy from the team - unlike last year.

Can you believe we're 4-4 and possibly in the hunt for the playoffs?!!! :woot:

The great thing was that EVERYONE on offense was making BIG plays. So props to Camarillo, Ginn, Bess, Ricky, Ronnie, Fasano, Martin, the O-line, and of course Pennington.

well our core went through 1-15 togather so if nothihng else theyre used to fighting for each other. You are right there is a chemistry and that will only build.
The thing ive been so impressed with this season is the fact that we dont roll over and quit like last year. When bad things happen the team deals with it. Last year when pennington threw the int there wouldve been 4 penalties, and 2 huge passing plays to follow. These guys dug in and held the damage to a field goal. Thats heart thats passion thats playing winning football.

It is really nice to see the chemistry on the team blossom over a couple of matches. This could of course be the due to the team is riding on a huge success at the moment, but the surroundings seems quite exceptional.

We can only be optimistic about this team's future!

I think were starting to see what makes a sucessful team in todays NFL.

Its probably not a stretch to say that if you took all the teams in the NFL, from top to bottom and some how measured their talent level as a whole there would'nt be that much seperation.

I think we are seeing that Coaching and leadership are the most important elements for sucess in todays NFL.

A coach that players respect, a coach that geniunely cares about his players and his players know it, a coach that knows how to unify a team, a coach that knows how to keep a team hungry. If a team has those things going for them even if they are less talented then others, i think you will find a team that will be there in the hunt.

I know we have most of those qualities evolving but theres one that needs to be shown and that is, can they stay hungry til the end, every week come out with high intensity.

I believe theres somethin special goin on....Repect the code baby!!!

yeah, I think the chemistry is really starting to develop. It wasn't that long ago that this team was looking like same old Dolphins; Stupid penalties, undisciplined and in general just a sad sack team that couldn't catch a break.

Suddenly we've turned things aground. We have one of the best turnover ratios in the league and we've significantly cut down on the penalties and we're actually playing clutch football. That drive to ice the game today was just a thing of beauty. Something like 15 plays and 9 minutes off the clock..just amazing.

It was also cool to see Ronnie headbutting all his lineman after he scored the TD. They haven't exactly done a great job run blocking this season and I could see some RB's being a little resentful, but not Ronnie.

I completely agree. I think Sparano has that nice blend of being a hard-nosed, yet caring coach. It seems like the players all want to perform at their best for him.

I remember reading about players at Dallas being sad that he was leaving because they respected him so much as a coach.

Yeah man, I couldnt believe Miami was on the list for the wildcard race on CBS (given the season ended today). Those losses to Baltimore and Houston are really killing us. Especially the one to Baltimore since they are 5-3... Houston isnt making the playoffs

Yea - when I saw that, my jaw just dropped! While I like to be a realist about our possibilities, seeing that made me think "wow, we have a chance!"

What's even funnier is reading CK's (very good) post about us having to adjust our possible draft prospects because we will most likely not be in the top 10 picks come draft day. What an amazing year this has already become. I know it's only halfway, but Parcells, Sparano and Co have already given us something - Hope! How can you not feel excitement about the rest of our season? :woot:
