for those who follow the draft or FA this is a good thing to keep an eye on.

we should have the 25th pick or 26th pick in the draft this year and usually thats a very good spot to trade out with teams that have the 29-45 spots who want to move up to grab someone they like a lot. happens ALL the time.

we can move back towards the end of the 1st or early to mid 2nd, pick up another 3rd and 5th or another 2nd for the future etc whatever it may be.

i like the idea of trading first round picks. But unfortantly it has become harder to do, in recent years.

Cleveland and I believe Buffalo have moved back up to get an additional 1st round pick. I, personally, would not trade within East or even AFC.

For example, Would Seattle swing a deal w/ Parcells and Co?

That would be my kind of move, especially if we get rid of players that Sparano KNOWS are nothing special.....

The Colts had to give up a first for the next year just to move into the end of the second for Ugoh. If we trade out of our first we should get a lot more than that.

would it be that difficult, considering who we have calling the shots right now?

Trading top 5/10 picks have been harder to do because of cap issues and people not wanting to pay top dollar for a kid that's never played a down in the NFL.

Trading in the twenties (where we are) is pretty easy to do when other teams fall in love with player X, the value there is pretty damn good too. Indy gave up a 1st, so did SF and that turned into a top ten pick for NE.

I like the idea of trading back unless we have fallen in love with a player like Raji or Sintim and don't think they would be where we trace back to, but if the deal is too good I would go for it. We have many needs even with our Playoff season
