Trade Luck for a 35 year old QB with a proably-career-ending neck injury?

Eh I'd be a bit angry. You never know if the new regime is going to suck at drafts or be good at them. It would seriously kill me to trade Luck, and then have most of the players we used with those picks end up as busts. But on the other hand if the regime is very good with the picks, then we'd be a pretty damn good team. so either way, I guess..

in all honesty i'd hire a camera crew, hire an expensive lawyer, and drive to south florida, bust into dolphin headquarters and chokeslam whoever was responsible for this dumb**** idea...

I couldn't disagree more.

I agree that Luck is great and will be very NFL ready if he stays healthy, but I don't at all agree that he is the only prospect that will be NFL ready.

I think Brandon Weeden will be even more NFL ready than Luck. The issue with Weeden is, of course; do you really want to draft a QB that old.

I will assassinate everyone in the Dolphins organization if this happens. If we don't have a franchise QB we will never be a solid team.
 
I'd trade Luck for the entire Green Bay roster ... as long as we're doing silly hypotheticals, might as well do a good one!!
 
It would have to be for a starting qb with playoff wins, (flacco/rogers/rivers etc) with 5 years experience as a player, there no. 1, 2 and maybe next years no. 1 pick.
 
I would.

If we draft Luck and can trade him to San Diego for Rivers or Rodgers from Packs with a draft pick on the side I wont hesitate. Luck is not proven yet. Although, he seems like the best QB in this draft. Rivers has proven already he can play. Still has many years left.
 
If Ireland remains GM, I wouldn't be surprised to see the pick traded for multiple picks, so we can take more OL and DL.
 
If Luck is there and we dont take him then **** is going to hit the fan..I dont want anyones washed up veterans...I want my own young Franchise qb... There is no offer that I would take.
 
I would go ape-**** if we had the opportunity to draft Luck and went for a draft & trade scenerio instead. Absolutely ape-****. Now, if it were any other team but the QB deprived Dolphins, it'd do the deal for multiple picks/players. You can fill a whole lot of holes with multiple picks and players. We've been QB deprived for so long though that we could not pass on Luck.
