I got the point and i agree but it just goes to show that Dave should have been fired. I have faith in Rick but are the handcuffs really off or did they just losen them.

Brad, you have to remember that Wayne wants this team to do well even more than we do.
He knew it was time for a change, and he made one. I am sure the exact same things that I posted were going through W.H.'s head as he thought about who to place at general manager.
Wannstedt is a crap talent scout. You can take a look at the players he brought in all the way back to his Chicago days. Jamar Fletcher, and Eddie Moore were both AGAINST direct advice from Rick Spielman.
However, as a coach, Dave is solid. He isn't great like Belicheck, but he also isn't crap like Martz. (my opinion on Martz, but any coach with that big of an ego is crap)
I think he can get the job done as a coach, it will just take some smart moves in the player dept.
That's where Spielman comes in, un-handcuffed, and ready to do his job.
