Something to PUMP YOU UP... Perfection 1972

I can't stand it, I want to see them win NOW. That was awesome what they did in 72 but I doubt the dolphins on the 2008 roster care about it. They want to win and I want to win in this millenium sometime.
 
no... Winning now will pump me up not winning in the past. I don't care how much we won in the past. I want to see some W's now. I don't want to be like the lions and cardinals fan who year and year out watch a pathethic team.

We, as Dolphin's fans, are not even close and should never be compared to the Lions or Cardinals. Our history is what sets us apart of any other team/fans in the league. We have something that no other team in history has accomplished...The Perfect Season.

I'm sure I'll get roasted for this, but I agree. I wouldn't go so far as to make the comparison to Arizona and Detroit, but waving the Perfect Season flag does absolutely nothing to get me excited.

Maybe it's because I was in diapers at the time, but a 35 year old memory is just that, a proud memory of an amazing feat. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the 2008 Dolphins and getting it rebuilt to the strong team it was not so long ago (even though it seems like it's been over three decades since we made the playoffs!)
 
I don't understand why a someone form NFL Network, who biggest accomplishment was taking out the trash this morning, is bitter about the Dolphins celebrating something no one else has done.

Ya know, you'd like to think what they did was awesome. But to listen to the haters Miami doesn't deserve the credit due to strength of schedule or whatever excuse they need to make.

I live in SJ and we have a local Philadelphia radio station where there are these two guy's who feel they know all.....I know, what a shock right? Anyways I called the radio station towards the end of 07' when the Pats were close to finishing the season undefeated and I tried to make a case for the 72' Fins and these two clowns wanted no part of it. All they wanted to do was trash the 72' Dolphins and give NE all the credit in the world.

Do they address the cheating? No, they act as if had little to do with their success. I was enraged with their obvious bias....won was an admitted Pat fan. But I've read many opinions from fans and such claiming the Ravens or Bears or 49ers to be the best ever, but did they win it all? No, did they go undefeated with their backup QB taking 70% of the seasons snaps? No! It's a shame Miami gets such little respect and maybe it's why the 72 Dolphins want so badly to keep the record their own. Validation for all the haters.

I know history wise we don't compare to the lions or cardinals but on the path we were going down with the badly miss draft picks, sorry head coaches and even a lamer front office we were heading down cardinals/lions land. I want to see the team win now. I don't ever want to get excited about winning one game anymore.
 
Adam Shefter is a dweeb. He and John Clayton are the only guys that hold jobs reporting 3rd hand info. They both suck!:D

I want to punch Adam whatever in the face!! He doesn't even know about the 72' Dolphins. That is such a fallacy about them popping champagne every year when the last team is knocked off from the unbeaten ranks as per Mandich on his radio show. I think I would trust him a little bit more than a pencil necked geek Adam whatever!!
