I'm a little fustrated that Mueller is actually on 790 the ticket as we speak answering questions from Joe Rose(he just hung up).

The interview barely took 14 minutes but as far as FA is concerned, 14 minutes is a lifetime.

Is this Harvey Geen's doing? BRILLIANT! We need to get a deal, man and bring this vessel into porter.
 
why are you freaking out? the interview you said took barely 14 minutes. i've been in the bathroom longer than that...take it easy man

A.D.D.? :lol: I would like to see them be more aggressive as well but they really can't afford to be. Other teams either have too much cap room and can afford to overpay or else they only have a couple holes to fix so they can focus on that 1 big signing. Unfortunately for us if we overpay with as little cap room and as many holes as we have we will be regretting it in the long run. We can't afford to get in a bidding war with these other teams.

I totally agree. I think a lot of players would like to play here but money is always the issue. How many high priced players have stopped here only to sign elsewhere....a bunch. We are like a merry-go-round for these guys....If we land one then great..if not...oh well. Get someone just s smidge under the talent we were looking at and sign him for a lower deal.....
 
What happen with the boss saying he will pay what ever it takes to get good players on this team this season. If he knew we were not going to have that much money to spend in free agency then his statement was stupid. Either we have the money or we don't. And if we don't then why make a statement like "We will spend whatever it takes to get the players we need"? Anybody can say that.
