Sonics Offer Luke Ridnour For #11 (Atlanta)

The Sonics are eager to begin the restructuring of their roster and have offered the Atlanta Hawks point guard Luke Ridnour for the No. 11 pick in Thursday's NBA draft, according to three NBA sources.

The Hawks have long coveted Ridnour and he could be the point guard they have sought for years. Atlanta passed on New Orleans' Chris Paul and Utah's Deron Williams in the 2005 draft in favor of Bremerton's Marvin Williams.

Interesting enough, the article also stats that Atlanta has another proposal on the table from another team offering a PG. I wonder which team that is, and who that mystery PG may be? We'll find out on Thursday, apparently.

Is Ridnour really worth the 11th pick? I would say no, especially in this draft..

theres been rumors all offseason that jarrett jack would be offered for 11th pick..he did go to geprgia tech....im not sure who is better, jack is more consistent but i thinnk id rather have luke

I don't think he can be traded (and sign-and-trade at that) until July 1st. It would be smart for Milwaukee to take Conley at #6 and try dipping back into the lottery for a swingman, though.
