I been reading alot in the draft forums and everyone big on Jake or Chris Long.Jake is good but there are 4 LT,s or RT,s just has good.Chris Long is not a 3-4 LB...So we are going to get curve ball at draft time...Glen Dorsey or Matt Ryan..I want Dorsey. We sucked on the run last year but im not happy with Beck,s holding on to the football thing. He,s a fumbler.

Your right atleast 4 OT's will be taken so should we wait for nobody worth anything to drop to 32 or take care of that with the 1st. That curve ball might just be trading JT so C.Long then makes sense.
You complain C.Long is not a 34 LB but you want Dorsey who's not a 34 NT.

What about Starks, Ferguson, Soliai, Fifita and Wright? We've got a few DT's. And why not Ellis instead of Dorsey? Ellis may be just as good without the history of injuries that Dorsey has. Honestly, I could care less as long as whomever it is, is the best pick in this draft.

where are u going to put dorsey, that would be a terrible waste of a pick. we have a great NT, and 2 great DE's-starks and holiday

1- Jake Long is head and shoulders above all but 2 tackles in this draft.

Jake Long is far and away the best run blocker at tackle this draft. It's not even close.. and for as much **** as people give Long for his pass protection, he still has better production on the field than Ryan Clady or Jeff Otah. It all comes down to this:

Is Vernon Carey our future at LT? If he is, then we hope that a guy like Cherilus drops to us in the 2nd and we use him at RT. If he isn't, we grab Jake Long.

2- Another popular misconception. Please show me why Chris Long cannot play OLB in the 3-4? He's got the ability, the fluidity in his hips, and the pass rush moves.. What exactly makes you say he can't do it?

Glenn Dorsey has no real position on this team. Hes too small for NT, and he's too short for 3-4 DE. It confuses me that you'd say what Chris Long ISNT and then go on to try and find a spot for Glenn Dorsey, who lacks a true position on this team

Thank you!! I have been saying that all along!!!

I wouldn't say any 3 of them are "great"
Maybe good, but definitely not great.

starks has doesnt have as much experience playing as a 3-4 end so i dont know how he could be considered great. holliday is getting up there in years. ferguson is what, 35 and coming off an injury?

dorsey would play all over the DL. he could a nose tackle, 3-4 end or on passing downs, move inside and play the under tackle.

I dont give a darn about scheme, Dorsey is the ONLY player Ive seen control the LOS. And he did it consistently against top competition, the SEC.

5 Technique, 3 tech, shade, whatever. He makes plays

no he cant play NT, if he could then we wouldnt have gotten fergy and he would have been the auto pick, and i dont think we are playing our hybrid this yer proly just a strait 3-4

What do you mean you don't care about scheme? If you get a guy that cant play in your scheme its a complete waste of a pick. Dorsey is a great player no denying it, but where would he fit in? If we run a 4-3 he would be a great pickup, having him in a 3-4 isn't going to use his talent the right way.
