I form, stack the box, no seperation, HB dives with Bennie anderson and the rest of that garbage line minus LJ shelton = 15 carries 30 yards game in game out, look for terrible trick plays as well, I feel sorry for you guys, and If you guys think I'm talking out of my ***, w/e because I've put up with it for 2 years, and you'll soon find out

If he's kept on a leash he might be effective. Mularkey's Offenses work the best when he sets up the run(that can be said for most offenses, but especially his).

Personally. I had no problem with Mularkey's play calling. I may be the only one who saw it, but I thought our offense was pretty solid last night{minus the running game}. I also thought that the OL held up very well. Sure, we struggled to run, but who doesn't against that defense??....

The Steelers made the plays on offense to win the game when it mattered, and that's all there is to it in my opinion. People need to stop pointing fingers, it's one loss, move on and take care of Buffalo / Tennessee at home.....2-1 HERE WE COME!!!!.....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Didn't McGahee run for 1200 yards last year and their line is worse?
Thats because McGahee is better, and still 1200 yards is barely the new age 1000 yard milestone

Splitting carries with Bettis not to mention a 20x better Oline that dolphins or the bills

let's not forget we were playing against the steelers' front seven...you cant expect 6 yards a carry against it, it's not just the o-line... they gave culpepper some amazing pass blocking throughout the game, just that steelers front seven is a mammoth on run D.

Maybe if they'd let Mularky run his offense and not Linehan's it would be more successful.

I wasn't thrilled with the offensive play calling either.

Mularkeys offense is Iform big, halfback dives, exactly what u saw in that run game, I feel bad for Ronnie, he won't have more than 20 runs off tackle all year :(

i imagine saban will reel him in a little, similar to what he did with Linehan last season.

We didn't run out of a conventional I formation with a fullback much at all. And one of those runs was when Ronnie was lined up at FB with Chris Chambers as the tailback. That one just happened to go for a TD though.

I actually remarked to some of the guys sitting with me during the game "I wonder why they're not running out of the "I" more and using Darian Barnes?" After all, Barnes strength (supposedly) is his wicked blocking... Against a great run "D" like the Steelers, I'd think you'd want him out there if you're going to try and run the ball.

You just have to hope that when he does it it's not too late(e.g. Pats and Falcons games last year)
