Could they have played the last few series a little better, sure, but the team showed a ton of heart after some early struggles and the loss of Albert. I am a huge Philbin detractor, but I am not going to kill him over this game. There were some tough circumstances at the end and he trusted his top ranked defense to win the game.

Tough loss, but the season is not lost. They faced the statistically best defense in the league and put up a respectable performance. This should give us some confidence to beat the Bills at home on Thursday.

The positive is that this was an NFC loss so it doesn't affect our playoff chances as much. It was a tough pill to swallow after leading late, but the resiliency of the team after the rough start was encouraging. Fins Up, and let's get them on Thursday!
 
The team mentally implodes in the clutch though. The Clay drop, that last drive to put the game away... all the little things add up. It's worrying and doesn't bode well should we make the playoffs.
 
Dude, losing this game sucks especially in this fashion, but the lions are an NFC power with a top defense. We lose this thursday and i think the season is over.
 
SAME OLE SORRY ASS DOLPHINS!!!! you have a chance to put them away and instead you play like the losers that you are. everyone on the planet knew if detroit got the ball back they were gonna go right down the field and score...everyone except the moron head coach and o-coordinator. we've now lost the same exact game twice in the last 4 weeks.
 
I agree. This loss to me doesn't hurt as much as the Green Bay loss. I would rather lose this one instead of losing next week to the Bills.
 
yeah, fixable. the early play call selection was again bogus. but the thomas fumble i thought was a game changer. along with the RT int. Cam disappeared. I don't know why we don't try to move him around.
 
I can go with that the season is not over.But a loss still hurts me.
 
I won't bash anyone as long as we beat buffalo Thursday. If the lions beat new england the division is still in our reach
 
Me neither man... yeah it wasn't the best game... but we need to focus on this division rival now...
 
Thursday Night is do or die for this team... Lose and its likely over... The good thing is that home teams have a HUGE advantage on thursday nights... I can't even think of the last time a visiting team won on Thursday Night this year.

Great game against a great team. We came up short. Saving grace is that the Bills and Steelers lost too. We need the win on thursday night or else...
