I jumped the gun calling Ronnie B a bust. Obviously it is way too early in his career to be a bust and even if he doesn't develop in Miami he still might not be. Jake Delhome, Trent Green, and Rich Gannon for example. I was just extremely frusterated with the loss and no hundred yard games for him along with low yardage average. Ronnie could be a good back I mean I don't think even Barry Sanders could have had a 100 yard game yesterday with our line. I realize I made some offensive comments to members that have been visiting finheaven most likely much longer than me and I am sorry. We are all dolphins fans that just want the dolphins to win the AFC.

"Make Haste Slowly"

Patience, props for apologizing.

Well, I don't think we can call him a bust at this point, but it is not unreasonable to be somewhat disappointed. You want to see a guy picked that high just come in and excel. Williams has done that, Brown has not.:(

True, but at the same time Gruden has publicly stated he was gearing their offense around Caddy, putting him in situations in which he has obviously excelled. I want to see Ronnie break the big ones as much as the next guy but the truth is Caddy and Ronnie are playing in two completely different offenses.

Not to mention the obvious difference in the blocking...

All Caddy is being asked to do is RUN. Ronnie on the other hand is being asked to be a 3 down back and he is excelling in every aspect but running...He is "reacting" when he is making his blitz pick-ups and doing a great job but he is thinking to much on the running plays.

I agree 100%

I am looking for Ronnie to be a productive addition in the second half of the season, but not much sooner. Due to missing most of camp and the fact that he is... A ROOKIE... forces me to use common sense in setting expectations.

Any of you that thought he would step on the field this year, with our line, a new scheme (that everyone is having to adjust to) need to take a step back and realign your expectations of the young man.

He may end up being great, he may be average, he may be worse :(

He has 2 games under his belt. Give him (and the team) some time to make the necessary adjustments to the game and they will be ok.

I just don't understand the belly aching about RB. He is doing what is asked of him. To this point, thats not much. What he has done is save Gus's life as well as give him an opportunity to make plays. This is Scott Linehan's "O", predominatly an aerial attack. As the offensive line matures you will see more run mixed in, the addition of RW to the backfield will also help improve RB's stats. Just quit whining about Ronnie.

Way to be accountable to your previous words. Still even with all the proof you were given others will continue with the nonsense. Go Dolphins in week 3 against another tough Defense though. This #1 schedule isn't very nice.

no problem bro......love your passion.

Maybe browns problem is his to eager to make a big play instead of letting the game just come to him...cant blame the poor guy though he knows how dolphins fans expect that he'll be as good or even better than ricky williams of two years ago. Just let him grow a little more guys and gals I think he'll be fine. we are lucky that spielman & wanny didnt have to pick that pick last year coz Im pretty sure they would have picked maurice clarrett and tradde all our other pick so they can pick cedrick benson.
