What's is appealing about that is you start to get the sense that the entire AFC East is evolving into a Bellichik / Saban disciple training center. With the exception of Buffalo, you have the Jets and Mangini, Bellichik in NE, and Saban in Miami. This division is going to be the bigest ****fight in the league next season I think, with 3 similar organizations beating the holy crap out of each other for the title.
 
If I'm not mistaken, Mangini hasn't done anything. Bill & Nick have been Head Football coaches for a Loooong time. In my opinion, I think the Mangini gamble will blow up in the faces of Bradway & Johnson.....
 
It definitely seems like he got the job because of who he has coached for, rather than what he has done as a coach. Nick turned around two college programs as a HC. Mangini will hardly have the same impact NS had here, at least not immediately. But we know that New Yorkers are going to expect immediate results.
 
I thought the only one that talked to the media for the Jets was Herm!! I don't remember them having an issue with talking to the media.
