Beat a division rival on the road the final week of the season and we win the afc east. Lose and it opens the door for another division rival to win the division if they win their game.

2001 anyone? Same 3 teams involved. In '01 we played the pats, our loss opened the door for the jets to win the division. Now we play the jets, a loss will open the door for the pats to win the division. All i know is we better not open that door again!!!
 
We had no business losing that game. but in typical fashion the great defense crumbled when the game was on the line like teh Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl.

Someone probably pointed this out to you, but that was 2002, not 2001.

Anyway, 2002 was much different from the team this year.

2002 we could have reached the SB. We DOMINATED the Raiders week 15 that year. We had Ricky at RB, JT led the league in sacks, McMike was playing good at TE, Chambers was doing good at WR, everything seemed in place, yet we choked it away.

2008, this team has won 10 games, however, we've had an extremely easy schedule. We've struggled to beat some of the worst teams in the league. I don't think we are favored against the Jets and we shouldn't be. We aren't really going to do much in the playoffs if we make

We need to improve over the offseason to really be SB contenders.

That said, GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!! I WANT TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR!!!!

It wasn't the Defense, it was more like Wanny, the coaching staff and special teams.

Jamar Fletcher, a Wannestedt pick, got called for the PI that sparked off the rally

Then, the fluke bounce on the kickoff set us up at the 3. Wanny called 3 pass plays, then Royals shanked the punt. The defense forced a three and out, Vinatieri made the FG, Mare kicked off OB, and the Patriots drove like 20 yards for the game winning FG
