Sounds like Carey will accept pay cut

If thats the case, it is VERY GOOD NEWS for a change.
 
awsome news. i wonder who we will go after since he got extra room. i want someone new on the o, but wake and paul need new contracts
 
All that bickering over the CBA for moooonths ... & SURE LOOKS LIKE ... the only winners are the Top 15% of players ... and alot of guys making less.

Even though both sides ... Players AND Owners have bigger budgets, with about the same status quo.

Our line is shaky & we need Carey, as no upgrades in sight.
 
Please let this be true! I was already worried about our o-line and offense enough as it was without worrying about him too!
 
I'm Glad that Big Vern made this decision to stay ... I love the Big Guy, unfortunately his weight caused his play to suffer and made him susceptible to injury ... but rumor has it Vernon is in the best shape of his life having lost alot of weight and and is healthier than ever .. I hope it's true he took the pay cut!!! Imagine Carey and Davis on the right side, they say Davis has lost alot of weight as well; and is in the best shape of his career too .. can't have enough experienced backups IMO ... if O'Hara signs and Davis is brought on board as well, things would IMO; FINALLY, settle down along the O-line ...
 
How is this good news? I mean it is good news that he will be playing, but with what motivation? What if he only goes half speed because he feels like we ripped him off. The whole situation blows.
 
Very good news. Throw those DE's in the dirt as Reggie zips around the corner for a TD big Vern :)
 
As long as Vernon isn't one of these I am glad he is back
