Chambers shows frustration on sideline

Chambers was demonstrative in voicing his displeasure to wide receivers coach Charlie Baggett about about Miami's offense in general and his lack of involvement in it in particular. Fellow receiver Marty Booker intervened, and head coach Nick Saban later chatted with Chambers.
"I was a little bit frustrated," Chambers said after the 17-15 loss to Houston during which he caught three passes (two of them late with one going for Miami's only touchdown) for 28 yards. "Kind of was out of my character a little bit, but I cooled down after a while.
"Just a little anxious to get the ball in my hands, because I knew I was going to have a great opportunity with the way they play here and their secondary."
The Texans' strategy was to blitz the Dolphins, who have trouble protecting quarterback Daunte Culpepper, while frequently leaving a solo defender on Chambers.
"We don't see that very often," Chambers said. "When we do, we need to take more advantage of that.
"That was the game plan going in. We knew we wanted to go down the field. We had a good opportunity to get a big one. It was there, and I felt we could have gone back to it a couple of times. We did a little bit with ?Book.'
"I thought I could have made more plays with a few more opportunities. I thought we were going to make a step (Sunday). It's frustrating."
His mood worsened in the final minutes when the Dolphins, attempting to forge a tie with a two-point conversion, failed. A pass from running back Ronnie Brown, intended for Booker, fell incomplete. Chambers, who was supposed to run to a corner of the end zone, instead ended up near Booker in the general vicinity of the goalpost.
"I don't know if I panicked," Chambers said.

he doesnt say it but i think hes tired of all of dauntes 5 yard passes. dc needs to learn that when they are blitzing that they are leaving people 1on1 and he can throw it for more than 5 yards

He has a right to get frustrated. The QB had opportunities to get the ball in his hands but instead through on a dump off to Ronnie or a quick out... He had time on in the pocket to make the plays, especially one on ones, because it doesn't take nearly as long for patterns to develop in single coverage. Culpepper is just plain hurting the offense, and Chambers stopped short of saying it, but I KNOW he's thinking it.

good im sick of this BS. No one says a word and we go about it the same way. maybe its time for PPL TO START YELLING AND SHOWING THERE UNHAPPINESS IF WE WANT TO KEEP THE JT'S ZT'S CC'S MCMIKES AROUND TILL THEY RETIRE!

Sometimes, although I'm a Dolphins fan, I wish Chambers played for Cincy, Indy, or another team. We're holding him back, seriously. It's a damn shame.

I don't wonna hear about his dropped balls either.. so does Chad Johnson.

i di notice that cc was blowing past the defenders. i dont understand why we didnt try it a couple of more times.

It's a lot easier to drop balls when you're surprised one is coming to you. :D

Mularkey should have called his number more often, but it's up to Daunte to make the reads, and the O-line gave hin very few opportunities to do so.

Good point.

When I saw 2 balls thrown his way in the 1st quarter, I was shocked!

Mulrakey and his playing calling...they dont even give Chambers the ball until the last minute

man wake up its not the play calling.dc just isnt throwing the ball for more than 5 yards. dc is checking down.mulrakey isnt calling all those short passes.
for those that worried that if we start joey we would be dividing the locker room, dont look now but i think cc wouldnt mind the change.

HOUSTON  Chris Chambers isn't happy.
And he showed it Sunday on the Dolphins' sideline at Reliant Stadium.

That's interesting since Eric Moulds was suspended for a game for getting into a fight with the WR coach last year and his lack of involvement in the game.

chambers is spectacular when he has the ball...we can never get it to him because some other numbskull screws up. Whether a penalty, oline breakdown, or culpepper holding onto the ball....ugh im really getting tired of watching them play..

I don't think he 'got into it' with Baggett. He's got a great relationship with him. Chambers seems like the type who would be more calm about things. He probably released his frustration, but I doubt it was a shouting fest.

No offense, but he's not the type to spit into another man's face, feel me?
