Sounds like Konrad and Marvez are lurking...

I think once Konrad starts getting the ball you will be impressed how he mixes it up plowing into guys.
 
Konrad showed lots of pass catching ability when Dan was throwing to him prior to Chan's arrival. As Oilver pointed out, Konrad would not have been starting if he was not in Dyer's league as a pure blocking FB. The question I have of him is "Can he be a Pro Bowl FB ?" The guys has looked like he could be John Riggins running the ball at times, but has hardly had the chance to show he can run the ball or with the ball after the catch enough to proce anything. I feel with him in 2002 it will be 100% mental, i.e. if he is healthy he justs need to concentate like a 250 lb'er on pass routes and not worry about getting hit and then punish any DB trying to tackle him. He had the talent and after 2 year of blocking, he should have the toughness.
